Stayed 1 night in a single room, owners and staff very friendly , cant fault it ,the bar is a bit small but i had no problems, it gets very busy about 7pm , needs a bit of a update but apart from that it was good

What a great place to stay , the staff and regulars are just wonderful.
So accommodating, where a lot are not if you are wearing leathers.
The beer and food is simply great, and the rooms are just what you need , clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and will be back again . Thank you all .

What a lovely hotel this is. The owner Gareth is so friendly and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfy (one of the best sleeps I have had while away from my own bed!) and it was nice and quiet. The breakfast was delicious (mostly from local produce). The food provided in the restaurant in the evening was beautiful, the waitress that served me made my night, she could tell me off the top of her head what was dairy and gluten free, such a rarity and they were very willing to accomidate my dietry requirements at meal times. All in all fantastic place :)

Some of the rooms are just above the kitchen and with the extractor fan buzzing just next to your window and the smells it feels like you are in the kitchen. Not very pleasant.
The rooms are quite shabby and look as if the have not been decorated since 1970's.

A very warm welcome and great local knowledge at this sweet and simple hotel, right at the heart of a lovely village. Lots to do near by. We stayed for a comfortable few days in a family room and had everything we needed. Generous breakfast!
