Had heard great things but was still blown away by what a great place this was for families to visit. The range of activities was huge and suitable for all ages, from our three year olds to adults we could have fun together. The rules are very well policed but this meant that we had a safe environment that we could let our kids have freedom in, and parents could relax. The first time we have ever had a relaxing holiday with kids! We will definitely be back!!
Just a note for those with littlies, the swimming hole is quite deep right to the edges, so floaties etc are needed.
Thank you for your review and great to hear that you felt your kids were safe to explore the camp. There are different areas of the river that are safe for younger kids as guests build small pools there but Quinneys Lake is definitely deep in places!
We had an absolute blast staying at Quinneys, thank you so very much. What a unique place, we all thoroughly enjoyed every aspect. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and the activities on offer were loved by the whole family. We will certainly be back again, looking forward to it already.

Quinneys Bush is just a gem of a Camping Ground. The Family has stayed multiple times and it's remained our favourite camping ground. The camp sites are fantastic offering so much space, perfect for tenting or caravanning. Once you enter this place you become so aware of how professional this camping ground operates...Mark & Marama Quinney are outstanding along with the staff...nothing is ever a problem to them....that is so valuable...! This camping ground offers family members plenty of fun things to do with something getting added each year....Quinneys Bush offers many opportunities for all types of young & wise who appreciate the outdoors...

It was a relaxing enjoyable time. Especially with family friends. So much to do or just laze around. Kids enjoyed the water slides maybe more water so it is faster andveven more exciting but still it's one the kids love to do. They looked forward to the trailer ride however this time they said the guide was not as alive to talk as the one last year 2020 but still they enjoyed it. The best part is being able to bring your own camping kitchen and put up shades and spread out. It is such a great bonus. We had one kitchen for all of us 8 family groups. Nature is being preserved too.
Will certainly go back again already planning for next year with other family friends wanting to join us too.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. The waterslide is fast enough for the majority of riders as any faster will put riders in danger of crashing at the end! The riverslide does need a small flow of water down it and this is being looked at this year. We will make sure the trailer guide is alive before putting them on the trailer rides :-)
Fantastic place to stay with kids plenty of things for them to do but sadly abit pricy at least make things more affordable for realistic families who want a holiday. I used to come here years ago and the prices were never this high at least have free showers.
Thank you for your review and it may be a good idea to check around other camps to see what you get for your money? There are many free attractions here for the kids except go karts at $10 per ride.
The reason the prices were lower years ago is that years ago we didn't have all the consents and permits to deal with and these cost a huge amount so the user has to pay, unfortunately! Might have something to do with inflation as well?
We used to have free showers years ago as well but they were extensively abused by day visitors and inconsiderate guests.
