The location is perfect: in between the "woods and lakes". The hotel from outside is beautiful and the entrance, lobby / lounge and restaurant are lovely. The service is great and friendly and the the breakfast is very good. Sadly the internet connection wasn't reliable in the lounge area while in our room there was hardly any connection. When we asked if they could do something about the reliability as we needed the connection for work, we were told our laptop was the problem....... When we were there the average age of the visitors was high, which doesn't have to be a problem but don't expect a vibrant atmosphere. As we brought our labrador we got a special room for guests with dogs. We don't know whether it was related to this but the room itself wasn't great: everything you would expect was in it but it felt small, dark, is was somewhat smelly (no airco) and was outdated. Not only the room itself but also the shower etc. Because the price for the night was around €85 (incl €10 for the dog) we expected something better as the price we believe isn't a bargain. Although the price seems normal is that region we somehow entered with higher expectations....

Average hotel rooms, ours was dark, at the back of the hotel but quiet. No extra blankets, no hairdryer, bathroom a bit grubby. Beds comfortable but apart and light from under the door very intrusive. Dinner very disappointing, not much choice and very expensive. Website out of date as menu and prices were different. Staff are friendly and the lobby / bar area fabulous. If they spent as much on the rooms it would be much better. 3 stars should reflect in prices.

Spent two days during a very warm spell of weather in late October. The upgraded room was very nice with comfortable beds, bedding and pillows. The shower was hot and powerful and towels were changed each day. It was quiet and we slept very well!
There are plenty of paths to cycle or walk and it is an easy 20 min. walk into the small town of Oisterwijk with plenty of decent restaurants to choose from. The breakfast was very good for 3* although they ran out of bacon on the first morning!
If we were to return to Oisterwijk We would certainly go back to this hotel.
A special mention to Fleur at the reception who was very helpful.

Room tip: We had room 305, on the first floor, which was refurbished, nice size and a quiet view into a wooded area

We visited while attending a wedding and spent two days relaxing. There are beautiful hiking paths accessible from the hotel. The hotel is modern and clean with good sized rooms. The breakfast was a wonderful selection of Dutch foods including numerous breads, cheeses, yoghurt, fruits and spreads. The beer selection includes a number of excellent Trappist offerings.

Stayed overnight with the family in adjoining rooms. From the outside the hotel looks a bit dated but the rooms seem to have had a recent make-over. Although small, they are well appointed and the beds very comfortable. We had a great night's sleep as it is so quiet! Breakfast buffet is decent with a good selection of cereals, bread, fruits, dairy, bacon & eggs. When breakfast is done, step outside and enjoy the beautiful forest and ponds of Oisterwijk, which are the real attraction!
