For this price (includes fabulous breakfast), this is an absolutely great hotel. It is elegant, but, as in many European hotels, the rooms are not spacious. They are however functional, great bed, superb TV, quite (and yes you can open the window for fresh air and still sleep), coffee machine, and good shower pressure. The desk is small but functional. No extra seats in room. The towels are ok, not the highest quality, but again functional. Excellent staff both at front desk and in dining room. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel in a quaint village that is pleasant to visit.

Very welcoming and service minded staff. Rooms (deluxe) are spacious and have a great comfortable large bed and very nice bathroom. The breakfast was great and very complete and we loved the entourage of the beautiful designed restaurant. We will return
to the hotel next time we visit the lovely town Oisterwijk and the beatiful surroundings!

Room tip: room 55 in the corner of the first floor

This is our 3rd stay at de Leijhof, but this visit was our longest (a week). We’ve stayed in rooms #203 and #204. Both are large, sunny, lovely and quiet. We have traveled quite a bit through the years, and must say this hotel remains at the top of our list. The staff is exceptional. There is an understated elegance about the hotel. The restaurant (The George) has been remodeled since our visit there last summer. Very upscale!!
Thank you for making our stay such a pleasurable experience!

Room tip: We have stayed in the newer section of the hotel.

In my humble opinion this is my rating for the experience:
Hotel location: 8/10
Service: 9/10
Food: 9/10
Interior: 8/10
Surroundings: 7/10
Staff: super 9/10
Value for money: 7/10

This is where it gets upsetting ;(
The room was very small, no phone, no tv, no service, nothing...
Thank god there was a bed u know?

The whole hotel is great I admit, and they might have great rooms too, but the room we got was actually bad... which is a shame!
Stayed for two nights and was so happy to move on.

Would i do it again?
For a better room absolutely :)

Rooms are large & modern. Extremely comfortable bed. Large flat screen tv. I was told the restaurant is good, but didn’t have the opportunity to eat there...will do on my next visit. No iron in the room but when I asked for one the receptionist organised to have my shirt ironed while I was out having dinner. Will definitely be back
