I stayed a couple of nights at the Pinar del mar. I found the staff most helpfull during my stay. I booked a private jacuzzi which was a very reasonable price for an hour. It is situated at the top of the hotel and has spectacular wiews of the city. The breakfast was also impressive with a great veriety of foods on offer. I whould gladdly recomend a stay at the Pinar Del Mar to anyone who finds him or herself in this part of Spain.

From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel welcome. The service and attentiveness of all the staff was exceptional. And free wifi around the whole hotel, even when sat on my balcony. My first time in that part of Spain, (sorry Catalonia!) and when I return I will definitely stop here again. Muchas Gracias!

We had a lovely room with balcony and complimentary champagne in the fridge thanks to the special package we bought. Also had a nice massage. Location is good, just a bit away from all the hustle bustle. Very courteous staff. Food in the restaurant at dinner was much better than I expected. Only improvement could be the "musak" played during dinner.

Terrible for a 5* hotel. But it's not, it's a 3* hotel. And the price is if a 3* hotel. The negative reviewers of this hotel are expecting too much.

For us it ticks all the boxes. Clean, friendly receptionist, good breakfast, good wifi, nice bar to have a drink after dinner, well equipped rooms, little pool....nice walk to the beach and the centre.

The only thing is (if the management reads this), please stop the smokers in the outdoor dining area at breakfast.

I recommend this hotel

We were a fairly large group with a variety of ages and had a wonderful stay at Pinar del Mar. The staff were very friendly, the rooms are pleasant and very clean, good air con and wifi. The breakfast was excellent and a perfect start to the day for our group of hungry teens. The pool is small, but so welcome after a day at the beach. A short walk into Playa d'Aro with everything you could need as far as bars, restaurants and shopping - and close to the beautiful beach at S'Agaro. There are large supermarkets across the road (Aldi and Lidl) plus a huge sports store for all the beach toys. Free on street parking or a short walk from the bus station with easy connections to Barcelona/BCN. Take a walk to the beach at Playa and take the boat to Tossa del Mar for a fun day out.
