We stopped to shop and then decided to have lunch.
We had a one chicken and one pork noodle dish. Both were tasty, well flavoured and filling. They are made up fresh to order, so it takes a few minutes to get served. But, worth waiting for.
We enjoyed our food, but we were fascinated by the behaviour of the two waiting staff on duty. One appeared to be the supervisor. She never stopped for a moment while we were there. She cleared tables and was attentive to customer needs. She cleaned and reset tables, making sure that the serviettes and chopsticks were neatly placed on the table mats all along the long table. She took payment, she was very good and proactively busy keeping the restaurant looking well.
The other waitress was quite different, she chatted to the chefs while customers were waiting to be served. She was a little irritated when a customer left their table to seek service. She didn't seem to speak Spanish or French but had a little bit of English. She followed any instruction given by the supervisor but didn't appear to be proactive.
The whole place is spotlessly clean, the food was tasty and filling and the prices were reasonable especially for freshly prepared meals. I'd be happy to come back for the food, the people watching is a bonus!
