We arrived 7th may late in the day, room was clean we slept in room 760 nice settee, great beds, shower was superb, hairdryer, kettle, and air con if you needed it, tv and lovely terrace, we came down for breakfast, it was good, we were bed and breakfast, bacon a bit fatty but the rest was spot on, staff friendly, and everyone welcomed us nicely, they started tiling the bottom pool on the tuesday and it was a pain but the top pool was ok and everyone fitted around no problem, the hotel is dated but nice, 3 stars is what its rated and i would agree with that, be aware of a night time it can be very windy and gets quite cold, but apart from our first day the weather was superb in the daytime, on the whole a great holiday, would i go back yes no problem, you truly get what you pay for, for us its a pool a parasol and a base, we enjoyed it and enjoyed all the restaurants on the front, which is a 10 minute walk from the caybeach.

Room Tip: Wear a jumper of a night time

I booked this apart-Hotel for the last six years and have noticed a decline in standards. Over the six years same weeks the prices have escalated by over 70% to have surly reception and over worked staff.
I have noticed on the comments previously that the water slides not operating with hotel excuses,i can say they were not operating in Sept 2017.
You may gather that not happy with this hotel. Will say its got good placement to beach and town.

Where do I start..
Remote control is a €6 deposit.
You have to pay for the air conditioning(not that I needed to as the weather was cold most days).
Splash park was under maintenance and was suppose to be back open during our week stay! It wasnt only to find out it had been closed all the week before also and we was told then different days!! Never opened at all! Then the big pool was closed off on Day 4 new big maintenance work there. Then a notice goes up from management that maintenance will be ongoing until 22nd May 2018!
My advise change your hotel!!

The restaurant staff are amazing, so friendly and running back and forth between the pool bar and restaurant as not enough staff!

Such a shame the hotel has great potential and the evening entertainment could be better.
I stayed all inclusive and found the food very repetitive.
It was just me and my two year old.

The mini club park has seen better days.
The indoor pool is for over 18s only!!
The free wifi lasts about 10mins if that.

Room was not to bad cleaned most days. Awful smell from drainage in bathroom though. Also no kettle noted if your self catering.

The entertainment room wasnt cleaned the whole weeks stay! Crisps still on the floor, broken glass, sticky tables, the carpet was absolutely disgusting stains everywhere.

All in all feel sorry for the staff as the hotel just lets them down!

The place is tired and run down needs a whole refurb!!

We have just returned from a weeks break at Caybeach Sun playa Blanca . We love Lanzarote but this hotel is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in on the island :( . We stayed self catering thank god!!! . Firstly the staff on reception are rude , roll there eyes when you ask them a question do not help at all . We weren’t shown to our room when we arrived the guy just pointed to a map of rooms on a piece of paper and said your in that one . Room was dirty and smelled rank , very old towels in bathroom and the smell on them when wet was disgusting. The balcony was full of bird muck and miss matched patio furniture! And thick with dust and hairs from previous guests . We were also made aware that the children’s pool was being upgraded with workers everywhere but the work was going on all around every pool with all steps being shut off and workmen drilling all day . So not very relaxing (BE WARNED) You also do not get air conditioned room unless you pay extra at reception for it and no tv remote ( you pay extra for this also at reception) . The kitchen utensils are filthy and we went out to by our own also NO KETTLE very odd!!! . Advice... take own towels and cleaning products if you have booked here .... you are going to need them !
Won’t be back here anytime soon!!!

Hi just arrived and so disappointed Tui Dublin never informed us the kids pool was closed. Would never have booked here for may. Be warned kids pool is closed. Try change to a different hotel. So disappointed with Tui.
