So we went for dinner here and it was..... ok.
Garlic bread with cheese for the kids was a expected but the Romantica salad was strange for two reasons. Firstly the mango in the salad and the mango vinaigrette completely overpowered the delicate lobster, secondly the presentation was from the 70's. Wish I'd taken a picture.
Mains for the kids were quickly polished off as they had spaghetti with meat sauce (not on the menu so credit to Romantica).
My Iberian pork was well cooked and tasty but again presented like something you would get at Fawlty Towers. Confit cod was good but the glaze/topping was a weird brown vaguely fish tasting thing.... Weird and also presented like a dish at Fawlty Towers.
This is a restaurant that has ideas above its station. The clientele think they are eating somewhere high class... They are not.
