First off, you need to have a car or a helicopter (they have a helipad) to get there. If you are driving then plug in 45° 37' 04" North 10° 43' 04" East or you will not find it. My Sygic sat nav had the restaurant as a POI but it took me to another village! It's very hard to get to with narrow roads, crazy Italian drivers who don't care about living and endless uphill first gear hairpins.
The place looks great and there are really stunning views. The service is inconsistent. We had 3 waiters, 1 was good and spoke English, the other 2 couldn't care at all. There are 3 taster menus costing 115 euros, 135 euros and 185 euros. We chose to go al la carte with 4 courses (antipasti, primi, secondi and desert) which came to 283 euros for 2 so just over 140 euros per person. I'm glad we did as we had the most amazing Chateaubriand for 2 people at 110 euros. In fact all my courses were awesome but the stand out was the quality of the fillet beef. My wife's antipasti and primi were not to her liking (had 2 bones in her antipasti fish which is poor for a Michelin 35 euro dish) but she enjoyed the generously sized Chateaubriand and dessert. We got free pre starters and pre desserts so we effectively had the same amount of courses as the taster menu.
We didn't drink wine as I had a hard windy drive back down but I think it is worth blowing the cash if you can afford it. If you can only spend your money big for an amazing meal around the lake or are not driving then I would recommend Esplanade instead. It's about the same price but the food is a bit better. If it's any consolation, service is included in the price :)
