Once you know a good place to go, each time you visit the region, you go again. We went on a Thursday night were "Simone" one of our host was performing. Great musician, unique voice and a good entertainer. The meal was excellent, antipasto served with grilled polenta and a truffle flavored mostarda, so good. After that we tried the leek and sausage pasta and a radicchio pesto one, very tasty. For main course,we had the 950 gr Fiorentina beef for 2, so tender and tasty. And again at a value for money price. Thank you for a wonderful evening, thank you to the chef, to Simone and the associate or boss?

In terms of food quality, this 10.0 out of ten, no doubt. In terms of the general experience, it's tricky and unusual: we came a family of 5 counting on tripadvisor reviews. It is in the middle of nowhere. We arrived around 19:00, hardly any people there yet, but they asked if we booked a place by phone. Anyway, we got a table outside and asked a menu, they said (in Italian) soon. That seemed strange but then we understood: there is no written menu! There is one waiter, funny guy who dressed like he was going jogging, who tells you everything. The problem- he can't say a wordcin English. Another guest helped us with translation and we ordered. There were some cats (some owned by the reataurant owner) going there and my young child was afraid of it. The food rather quickly, and WOW. I can't say enough how good it is. Their truffles tagliatale is a reason to go on a plane and come back there! My wife ordered angos-she got the largest, best done and tasty beef steak we ever ate. Everything else was also good. And the prices are not high.
Overall, if you are ready to the overall unusual setting (which I found memorable in a positive way) you MUST try this place. The best Italian food out there!

The journey to The restaurant was an experience in itself. The place was never discovered without trip advisor. You will ned to know a few basic italian phrases and you will get by easily with the friendly staff. A true gem, which is very well hidden from tourists - that is until we read tripadvisor.

We had been to this restaurant last year and I wanted absolutely make it tasted to my gourmet friends. There is no menu at the table just a blackboard with prices for each courses, all very reasonable. The carafe of house wine is from the area and interestingly good. The food tasted like mama did it. Bravo chef. We had the hazelnut pesto pasta, bigoli with guinea fowl ragú, bolet mushroom pasta, all excellent. To follow grilled meats with grilled polenta, stewed rabbit, served with plenty of tasty side dishes. Coffee and grappa. Bill for 5, 120€.. Better reserve as it was full..highly recommended.
