Although you are less than 30 minutes from Noto and Avola, within easy striking distance of the sea/beach (again 30 minutes) it's pretty remote. Which I think is great. You can listen to the wind in the long grass or birds sing as you drink a beer in a hammock or read under the shade of an olive tree.
We ate at the local trattoria which is owned/run by Pippo, I'd heavily recommend it. It's low Quay (just us) and serves excellent local food.
The showers are hot. Toilets are clean. Sarah will make you a morning coffee or espresso for less than a euro.
I'd stay here again. Perfect if your looking for quiet and picturesque (and authentic)
