Since a long time I wanted to try this restaurant, hidden in the less visited part of the old Acireale town, intrigued because last year (but no longer this year) it was the first in the TA ranking of Acireale restaurants.
After our dinner, I can say the food was excellent (although probably not exceptional), the value for money good, the service a little slow (50 mns between the arrival of the first course and of the main dish).
The location is charming, in a green courtyard in a historic tenement (given the Acireale climate, this courtyard can be used for most of the year instead of taking refuge in closed rooms).
We have experienced the following main courses: seafood linguine, "cremolato" lemon rice, the tasty "Vico Proiette" linguine (among many ingredients, anchovies and whole shelled almonds). As main courses, mixed grill and baked sea bass. Finally, delicious almond frozen desserts and almond ice cream.
Final bill, all included, 105 € for four people, so just over 25 Euros per person. Certainly the dishes I mentioned are worth the bill.
