The tower itself was closed when we went, but we went up to it and enjoyed the view of the beach. It's a really pleasant spot.

Old Spanish tower on the beach near Bari Sardo. Great views, colourful and if physically possible, nice to have a climb on the rocks around the tower. Afterwards I can recommend having a drink at Su Zilleri. When looking at the Torre this bar is on the right and right on the beach.

Did not enter the tower (there is a museum) but walked around it, beautiful views!

To the surroundings: The beach is nice and not crowded, water get rather deep quick though. The water is wonderful, looks like a post card. There are two hotels with good restaurants and bars. There is not even an atm here, you need to go to Barisardo for that, as well as a supermarket. There are fruit stands, mini market and a place that sells everything you need for the beach, such as an sun umbrella at about 13€. Perfect place to relax or to go diving or kayaking. There is a diving school that offers that and wind surfing. All you need!

Very nice and small beach with a tower of stones. In the back there are pine trees with lots of shadow.
Lot of families are making picknick and having a good day. The beach is windy with lot of waves,
maybe not the best location for small children

We got to the beech late afternoon and it was very smooth. Water where very comfortable, not to warm and not to cold.
Snorkeling was easy and I was able to see a lot of fishes.
The Spanish tower was closed but we where able to go half height by the stairs which gave us a nice view on the beech.

The beach around the tower is amazing. Just make sure you wear flip flops as the sand can become really really hot. And don't go there without an umbrella the sun can burn. The beach on the one side is sandy and the other side is pebbles. The sea is super blue and great for swimming.

Lovely pebble beach, very clean and not crowded at all (this was in august!). If you want a beach which is quiet, has a nice breeze and Wifi (at the beach cafe!) then this is the beach for you! Would definitely recommend.

Lovely place to visit but there is very little to do in the town. However, if you are after long expanses of golden sand with very few people then this is the place for you.

we arrived at torre di bari one early afternoon and we found the beach well visited but not crowded. torre di bari...maybe 15 kilometers far from tortoli is easy reachable by car... parking spaces are located...one full day kosts 3 euro...tickets are available in the hotels on the other side of the street or at the kiosk.
the beach itself is formed like a halfmoon...the sand is ambra coloured and meters high and the beachsection seems made arificial . the beach to the waterfront falls steep till the water and doesn´t slopes gently to the sea. after a few meters the water reaches till the neck...not so nice for families with small children. the water was crystalclear and clean...shines in every shade of green and blue and it made fun to splash there. at the southend a big mauritanian tower is located...access is not possible...but nevertheless a perfect place to take nice photos.
near the torre a lot of cliffs and beautiful rockformations with spreaded single stones are located and snorkeling should be very interssting there.
a big pineta in the back of the beach offers shady places on hot and sunny days, but sunprotection should be nevertheless in the beach luggage. a beachbar we didn´t remark, but behind the pineta some shops are located.
we enjoyed our time at torre di bari very much. the beach was relaxed and quiet and it was a good possibility to read a book or let dangle the soul easily. when we are back in this area we will be back again.
