Lovely place to visit but there is very little to do in the town. However, if you are after long expanses of golden sand with very few people then this is the place for you.

we arrived at torre di bari one early afternoon and we found the beach well visited but not crowded. torre di bari...maybe 15 kilometers far from tortoli is easy reachable by car... parking spaces are located...one full day kosts 3 euro...tickets are available in the hotels on the other side of the street or at the kiosk.
the beach itself is formed like a halfmoon...the sand is ambra coloured and meters high and the beachsection seems made arificial . the beach to the waterfront falls steep till the water and doesn´t slopes gently to the sea. after a few meters the water reaches till the neck...not so nice for families with small children. the water was crystalclear and clean...shines in every shade of green and blue and it made fun to splash there. at the southend a big mauritanian tower is located...access is not possible...but nevertheless a perfect place to take nice photos.
near the torre a lot of cliffs and beautiful rockformations with spreaded single stones are located and snorkeling should be very interssting there.
a big pineta in the back of the beach offers shady places on hot and sunny days, but sunprotection should be nevertheless in the beach luggage. a beachbar we didn´t remark, but behind the pineta some shops are located.
we enjoyed our time at torre di bari very much. the beach was relaxed and quiet and it was a good possibility to read a book or let dangle the soul easily. when we are back in this area we will be back again.

Sadly the tower was closed when we visited, but it's located on a nice rocky surface. The beach on the right side of tower had great waves when we visited.

The coast of Barisardo is breathtakingly beautiful. The rocks are pinkish red and seem to walk into the water all by themselves. The viewes are stunning, the beaches sandy. The tower though, is not of interest at all. The leaflets show a white tower. In reality the small tower is of stone color.
