This beautifully furnished and tidy apartment is perfectly located in Monopoli with harbour view at the edge of the historical centre. At our arrival our nice hosts Alex and Ada had arranged for basic things like water, coffee, milk, toast, butter, jam and a big basket of fruits for our first breakfast the next day. The kitchen is well equipped including a dishwasher. Besides this there is also a washing machine, and the apartment has Wi-Fi. For further convenience there is air condition and all the windows are equipped with grids to keep insects outside. On the roof top there is a second terrace with sun beds, parasol, and an outside shower.
In the morning we enjoyed having our breakfast outside on the terrace besides the kitchen watching the life in the harbour. Just round the corner you are in the historical centre where you find cafés and several restaurants and also a city beach in walking distance. But there are more nice beaches along the coast in both directions.
Besides this Monopoli is the perfect place to explore Apulia by car with nice spots like Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Alberobello (a MUST with the unique Trulli), Castel del Monte, but also Lecce and Gallipoli in the South. In case we get back for another holiday we definitely will book this apartment again, and we will also recommend friends to do so.
