Good for: Local cuisine
Dining options: After-hours, Dinner, Reservations
Description: The restaurant is nested in the heart of kibbutz Degania Alef, adjacent to the Sea of Galilee. The patio faces the pastoral courtyard, surrounded by century old structures. The interior is separated into a primary dining room, complemented by the presence of a bar both comfortable and welcoming, and a romantic dining area, featuring an entire wall decorated by a wooden wine display. Upon entering the building, guests are received by an impressive authentic Italian stone-oven. For the menu, the Italian-Mediterranean kitchen features pizzas and foccacias from the stone-oven, fish and seafood, handmade pastas, and an array of colorful and modern desserts. The atmosphere is warm and homey, the waiters are well groomed and uniformed, and the service is meticulous. And in the background, a playlist from the Italian classics, through the French chanson, the bouzouki of Greece, and finally the legends of rock.

Tapas style, small plates restaurant where dishes are designed to be shared. Excellent quality. The polenta was to die for!

We had heard about this little pearl located in Deganya Aleph close to the Kinneret and were looking for an opportunity to go. Our party, being a vegan, a vegetarian a meat eater and a fish lover are not always easy to cater for. Fortunately here this was no problem. Our lovely waitress Maya was more than professional and knew exactly what to recommend for each of our tastes. The food was all excellent whether it was a vegan pasta dish a sea food risotto or a ravioli dish. We ordered a salad for us all and added a delicious fresh out of the oven focaccia served with tasty relishes. The service was outstanding and Maya knw exactly when to bring us more of the ice cold water which we downed the food with. We didn't have room for the desserts but told Maya we would be back. The price was more than fair .An excellent place to go when in the area and definitely when you have guests from overseas. Book in advance at the weekend as it is not surprisingly very full.

A very friendly service. All the ordered dishes were beyond praises.
The price range of almost all the dishes is between 55 and 75 shekels.
Two dishes on the middle of table and one personal dish for each visitor was enough for three people and even did not leave room for dessert :-(
We asked to decant the wine prior to arrival and they agreed to do that even without asking a credit card number for deposit.
By the way, sometime you can find in their local wines cart the real pearls. For example, Amphorae Merlot-Barbera 2009. I do not want to quarrel with the winery so do not publish price :-)

We had a wonderfull dinner with my family: nice green salad and excellent fish and shrimps bowl. The deserts were also very nice - chocolate cake and tiramisu. Highly recommended with a very nice atmosphere and service.
