When you first approach the property, up the drive through the woodland it's quite something to see this stunning house, set alone with no neighbouring properties it makes it a superb rural retreat and an ideal space for little ones to run around in the secure garden.
Immediately on entering the property I noticed the attention to detail, door mats with the logo, informative signs and then a welcome pack, one for the property and another full of local information. A bottle of local Sandringham apple juice on arrival is a lovely touch too!
The property is fresh, bright and spacious. We loved having two lounges, one for the grown ups and one for the children, the kids were entertained with colouring books and board games which were provided.
The kitchen is a very well laid out space with plenty of crockery and cooking equipment, the range master was easy to use.
Upstairs is so spacious and the 3 bathrooms are extremely welcome when there's quite a number of you wanting showers etc at the same time in a morning!!
The beds were comfy, and the blackout blinds certainly aided a long and peaceful nights rest! The setting of Brickley Rise is so tranquil, no road noise, the only sounds are birds and the whistle of wind in the trees! It's certainly an ideal location for relaxation!
The tourist folder really helped us choosing where we visited and ate out whilst in the area. The beaches of Snettisham and Heacham are 3 and 5 miles away, although we preferred to travel a bit further to Hunstanton where there is a bit more for the kids to do. Sandringham House is only 2/3 miles away and made a fantastic day out with a picnic.
We will definitely return to Brickley Rise, it's a beautiful place and so clean and well kept! The situation of it is just 'wow!!' Perfect place and a real credit to the owners hard work of getting it to such a high standard. It definitely deserves its 4 star Gold rating!
My family and I stayed at Brickley Rise this year and I understand it was a new holiday let for this year. You can see the owners have taken great pride in this property which is reflected with the Star rating it has achieved, it was very clean and well presented. The welcome pack was very well detailed in explaining about the local area and what attractions and restaurants are worth visiting.
The decor is lovely and very inviting, the house has 2 living areas which is great, one for the adults one for the children!
The little touches such as the board games, toys for children and plenty of books on the local area thoughtful and useful.
I would certainly recommend Brickley Rise and visit again as we really enjoyed it, we found it unique with the space of the garden and the children had lots of room to play safely. The picnic tables gave us the opportunity to eat outside in the evening.
We had great communication from the owners and we hope to be coming back next year!
Spent 4 days at Brickley Rise with my family and some friends and I will certainly be coming back. The house is beautiful and has everything you could ask for from a holiday let, the attention to detail in the cleanliness, the decor and the facilities on offer are second to none. With us having smaller children, it was really helpful to find helpful items such as a high chair, potty and cots available.
The house is placed in beautiful grounds with plenty of space for our children to play in with picturesque surroundings to take in from nearly every angle of the property. You are only about 5 miles (10 mins approx) from the beach at Hunstanton which is beautiful and the Sea Life sanctuary was great for the children as well. My friend and I both play golf so the golf clubs at Heacham Manor and Searles resort were very useful and close by.
The house itself is very cosy and while the photos of the house are lovely, you will be surprised at just how nice the house is. It was such a relaxing few days in such wonderful surroundings.
