The best hotel I have been to during this summer vacation in South Albania. spotless rooms cleanliness and great breakfast. You can enjoy the cool (a bit chilly) mountain weather in summer and you can feed raindeers walking around the hotel.
There is not much you can do in the hotel, therefore it is advised to go to the beach during the day or if you are fond of hiking you will have a lot of places to walk.
There are a couple of nice restaurant out of the hotel, so you can try local cuisine on them as well

Room tip: choose cabins, rather than the hotel

The Llogora Tourist Village was our first stop during our vacation in Albania. We drove from the Tirana Airport after a long flight. Llogora is at a height and was way cooler than the cities. It was also quiet and serene.
The place has a few rooms in a large building and several cottages with 2 rooms and a nice sit-out to sip coffee and watch the deer and the trees. There are several treks are around the lodge and we took the easy one the next morning. Lunch and dinner were in the few restaurants around which served great fresh food. The service in the hotel was very good and we felt quite at home.

Room tip: Choose a cottage near the entrance to the property if you want it to be quieter

This is one of the healthiest place in Albania, to spend a a short holiday with your family. A qualitative investment on the hotel and its facilities (indoor swimming pool, minigolf, etc), great food a a lot of opportunities to walk on nature and explore the Llogara national park.

Well, the place is amazing and the way it was build the small wood houses decades ago is excellent.

You really feel the nature and fresh air.

Coming to the structure/hotel:

The renovated houses are very good and the hotel rooms as well.

Temperature ok in all the environments. The facilities they offer as pool, games for children as well as the attractions are an advantage in that area, and satisfying.

In order to serve these facilities the hotel should also offer the relevant “accessories”. In the pool side especially. No towels and no hair dryer (when we asked) available at the pool. I think you pay the price to have them.

The price is high and the facilities mentioned above should be available to justify that price. Anyhow i’ve been some times there so this is not influencing my evaluation.

Breakfast and food there is good, sometimes due to high number of persons not everything is genuine as should be there

Llogora tourist village offers both hotel rooms and cottages. The hotel rooms are located in a classic mountain resort style building and the cottages are situated on grass planes along side the long driveway towards the main building amidst trees and small playgrounds. The whole area was fenced and inside a family of dear was walking freely. Behind the main building lies a neglected mini golf course and inside the main building are also a restaurant (with terrace) , recreation area (with billiards and table tennis) an indoor swimming pool and a sauna.

We were 2 adults traveling with our 3yo daughter. We stayed 6 days in one of the cottages.

This place is probably the best place to stay if you have small children. If we let her our daughter could probably play and run around the cottages chasing the deer all day for our 6 day stay. One can get a small bag of corn (we got them for free) to feed the deer with. For us as parents it was nice to be able to just sit in front of the cottage and read a book while our daughter was playing.

The restaurant was good, but we would also recommend to try some of the other restaurants in the Llogora pass, especially restaurant Bego which serves the best meat of all the places we tried and has a nice garden with tall trees and swings.

The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I got my laundry done for free although I got the impression this was officially not a service they provided.

The cottages themselves were old but did the job. The beds were a bit hard to my taste and the bathroom lacked finishing here and there. It was all clean though and everything worked as it should.

We used the cottage as a base to visit several sights in the close vicinity like the Orik ruines Karaburun Marine Parc, Vlore, Orikum, Djerme and 2 short hikes one of which started next to the main building. They have a crude map of hiking routes at the reception.
