Good to be welcomed as Canterbury locals with 15% discount at this resort restaurant, within Peppers but open to non-residents. Had attentive staff, mountain and water views, but most importantly we enjoyed excellent food: a shared 'regional platter' included lamb, venison, salmon, chorizo, several cheeses, olives, chutneys, fruit and home made breads. Two interesting desserts on themes of chocolate/coffee and elderflower/ginger, which could be improved slightly (but only to go from 80% excellent to 100%). The cheescake came with a glass of mulled Merlot - a nice touch. Happy to recommend and we shall return. Thanks.
