This is my hotel of preference for business in this area. Good access, reasonably quiet, room rates are OK & although the rooms are fairly basic all together its a good package.
Like thousands of others I am a paid up Club Accor member & use an Accor hotel whenever I can to enjoy the privileges of membership, one of which is a complimentary beverage (wine, beer, coffee etc).
At the end of a long day's travel & work it is undeniably annoying to go to the bar to find only the most budget of wines on offer, this time a lousy chardonnay & no chance to use my voucher for at least a credit against a wine of choice & pay the difference.
So for a couple of lousy bucks, the hotel's (mis-)management p#*@es off a loyal guest who will now ensure I do not use the in-house food or beverage facilities.
Accor as a brand really needs to rethink this approach & consider what their customers really want.
