“Fabulous Cottage”
Reviewed 27 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

We have just returned from a week's stay at Sandaig in Nethy Bridge and what a fabulous stay we had. The location was ideal for trips out to Caingorm and the North and West Highlands. Having stayed in the area on many occasions we found this cottage to be the nicest yet. Our family of 6 (plus one baby and 2 dogs) found the property to be well stocked with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Jackie the owner kindly kept in touch with us with any needs we may have, but we had everything on site. Thank you Jackie.

We would strongly recommend you stay here and hopefully we will be able to return to this beautiful property and location.

“Family Holiday”
Reviewed 10 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We had a great holiday at Sandaig. Nethy Bridge is a great location for outdoor activities for all ages Cycling and walking are out the back gate to woodland paths and onward to a large local network. It is perfectly placed to explore the activities and experiences of the Cairngorm National Park.
Sandaig was an excellent base for the family week in comfort and was well appointed for all our needs. The children had a safe back garden to play and watch the wildlife. Sandaig would be a great location in all seasons.

“Home from home. ”

This was our second stay at this location and like the previous reviews really could not fault the house or the location. The house is 5 min walk from all the local services and set in a wonderfully quiet and scenic location. All the rooms are well appointed, the kitchen is modern and the home owner has fitted it out really nicely. The main bedroom down stairs is on suite with a massive shower room. Upstairs their are a further two bedrooms and bathroom. Whilst we were really fortunate with the weather the main lounge has a free standing log burner which is a nice feature and really in keeping with the area. The rear garden is bordered by a forest with direct access for walking, our dogs loved the place. Nethy Bridge is an ideal brass for walking cycling and has easy access to numerous local routes. We took in golf at The Boat of Garten and Spey Valley
both fantastic courses and within 15 min drive. The local 9 hole course is a short walk away. The care taken by the home owner from point of booking was really helpful and bikes and a BBQ were left for us to use.Fantastic stay and highly recommended.

“A beautiful House in a Beautiful place!”

We had a fantastic holiday, staying in this amazing house! It was clean, tidy and had excellent facilities. The kitchen was particularly good for preparing meals for the family with plenty of space to move around each other in general. The gardens are very big with plenty space to park cars and, our favourite feature; a gate at the back leading to a large forest area with plenty of trails for dog walking and mountain biking - the owners even provided two bikes for us to use throughout our stay!
Nethy Bridge is a fairly quiet village, there is a shop and a hotel nearby and plenty of walks too. Aviemore is a 20 minute drive away which has a vast array of shops, activities and restaurants.
