Not far from Garda lake and Peschiera center you find this pleasant restaurant where passion dominates.
In appetizers part you have a great choice of mixed plates of gourmet cold cuts matched with cheeses, “the hanging” version one called “Il tagliere TAOLON” is perfect for two or more and really offers you original tastes. We had it once but the second time we tried the sea part called “Quartetto de Maria” : marinated anchovy fillets with parsley, spicy sardines, fine roasted bread with anchovy fillets and cheese goat shavings.
The first courses are original and fresh with original combinations as Bronte pistachio pesto, or home made gnocchi with fresh cheese.
For second dish we had an amazing salted codfish with polenta, it was tasty and delicate at the same time.
We always appreciate the possibility of having half liter wines, especially when the draft ones are of good quality. At the Taolon restaurant you find this and we had a very good draft local prosecco.
The sweets choice is difficult……all excellent and delicious.
