This restaurant is located on a wine farm surrounded by the olive groves, vineyards and grain fields of the farm where we stayed. It is rustic and usually full of locals (I'm told). It is a must do. There is no menu, it is simply chef's selection based on the fresh game available at the time. All three courses were stupendously delicious and nothing left us disappointed. The pick was the wild boar and again the local wine was perfect.

I definitely recommend it for anyone (couples, families, big groups), but call ahead as they have irregular schedules.

We had lunch at La Casa di Caccia and the food was very good. We tried a little bit of everything--the meal was very well prepared and the restaurant setting was rustic and charming. The wild boar and the chocolate cake dessert were delicious!

I have been fortunate to have eaten at Casa Di Caccia many times. Each meal has become a wonderful memory. The food is superb, from antipasto through dolce and everything that comes between. The staff and ambience are courteous, well trained and personable. They all go flat out to make this a wonderful experience. Most of all there is La Mirella whose deft hand with pastas and sauces and everything she makes is at the center of these dreamy meals. She will do her best to satisfy any food desire or outrageous dietary necessity. I sit here smiling and glowing with the many memories of my evenings there. If there is anyway to have a meal there it is worth the miles you may need to travel. I plan many more visits and know each one one will be sublime!

We booked using Google translate but when we arrived we found out that some of the staff speak fine English. Wednesday and Thursday nights are 'game night' - 30euro per person and we were stuffed! Amazing cured meat and sausages as starter followed by pasta and two meat courses! Mixed game meat (deer, mountain goat, wild boar with veggies and spelt) followed by the piece de resistance - grilled pork and steak! The latter the tastiest that I have had in Tuscany! So tender as well! By then we were so stuffed and we were desperately trying to Google translate 'doggy bag'... Our server immediately said 'doggy bag' apparently no equivalent Italian translation. Desert was awesome! And we had an amazing home made chili oil with our meal.

Utterly authentic... Some hunters were eating at the same time and brought their hunting dog inside. This place caters to both locals and visitors and was definitely a truly unique experience for our group.

We had a great meal here! Food was well presented, delicious, and although the portions weren't gigantic, for me they were just perfect. The menus are fixed price and the quality was excellent - even the house wine was very good! The staff and friendly and accommodating and brought us second helpings when asked. Highly recommend! The countryside is beautiful too!
