“Gorgeous, spacious Tuscan farmhouse with breathtaking views”
Reviewed 25 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Two of us spent a week at I Rondoni and had a fantastic time, relaxing and enjoying the stunning views, the lovely outside terraces, the brilliant jacuzzi bath, and the characterful and beautiful property with its thick stone walls, shuttered windows and arched doorways.

The well equipped kitchen, wide range of crockery and dining tables both inside and out meant we were very happy cooking for ourselves with supplies from the nearby "coop" supermarket just outside Montevarchi (15 minutes away by car.) There are numerous restaurants nearby which apparently are good and we hope to try them out when we return to Loro Ciuffena - a beautiful village - although we felt we needed the car to get to it - or more accurately get back - as the property is more than a kilometre away up a steep and winding road.

The stone pillars and cypress trees and the swifts flying around outside gave the place a magical atmosphere. The beds were comfortable and the showers powerful.

Some of the furniture is a bit old and ricketty but we didn't mind that and were extremely comfortable.

The only things we wished for were a cafetiere and some sun loungers or comfortable deckchairs. Apart from that we were entirely delighted by the property and felt it was excellent value for money.

Riccardo the owner was wonderfully helpful - answering our questions before the trip and refunding all of our security deposit at the end even though we caused a small amount of damage - assuring us it wasn't a big problem and that the main thing was that we had enjoyed the house. (Warning: don't assume a barbecue is ashes and go off to have a jacuzzi bath when there is a highly flammable improvised sunbed next to the barbecue!)

We didn't feel the need to explore nearby towns as we'd done some sightseeing before we arrived and just wanted to chill out, but the property is very well situated to visit Sienna, Florence, and Arezzo among other places.

Overall a fabulous rental and we will remember the beauty of I Rondoni for many years to come. Thank you to Riccardo for helping us have such a wonderful holiday.

“Beautiful Villa, stunning location, memorable vacation!”

Great feedback help and support via Ricardo the owner, including quick response to questions during reservation process.
Overall a fantastic family holiday for young and older family members. Villa is set in a stunning location, enjoying breathtaking views. Local village was great for relaxed and laid back evening walks with varied dining options.
Ideally located to enable easy travel to popular locations, plus some hidden gems which made daily exploration a real pleasure!
