We booked in advance and upon arrival Todd provided us with rooms larger than our reservations required (we had book one double and two single rooms). As he had availability, Todd moved us to two extremely large rooms and one large room that provides us all with space to spread out and relax. All rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds. Bathroom and shower facilities were all in good condition and functioned well.
Breakfast was large and tasty.
Todd was very helpful, providing us with excellent food and drink recommendations in Trim. He also gave us some very good recommendations on the sights in and around Trim.
We only spent one night here, but it was an enjoyable experience and time well spent.
White Lodge was an excellent lodging choice and perhaps the best value for our money during our 2 week+ trip to Ireland/N. Ireland.

This was the first accommodation we booked for our family trip and I am so glad we stayed there our first night. Todd was very helpful and had our family room nice and warm for us since we were coming from considerably warmer climates. He allowed us to check in early as we had flown in on the red eye that morning and was very helpful with recommending restaurants and locations to visit as well as telling us where to find someone to help us fix up our cell phone. The Irish breakfast in the morning was incredible - a huge amount of food even for my bottomless pits a.k.a. Our children. The price was great as well. And the location can't be beat! Right across the street is the park for the castle and the shopping district is also right around the corner and down the street and the commons area on the other side of the street has nice walking/running paths. Even though it is in the heart of everything, it is nice and quiet. This was our first time staying in a family room and I was concerned about the size with fitting in 3 beds, but we didn't feel cramped. Wireless is also available and free, and we enjoyed an evening in front of the fire with TODD and his family watching the local news. Todd also has a refrigerator, computer and printer available for guest use. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Well-maintained property and rooms, a fine to-order breakfast, and a pleasant neighborhood and stay. Excellent pricing for all of this, too. Tom O'Laughlin, the owner, is there to assist all of the time.

We made a last minute change to be closer to the airport for our departure day. It made for one of our best days. We were welcomed and shown to very nice rooms. The bathroom was enormous! It is within an easy walk to Trim Castle and the many restaurants nearby. They gave great recommendations for food (we used on suggestion for lunch and the other for dinner) and directions to get to the castle. They even gave us tips as to where to find the best traditional music for the evening, which was just down the street about 2 blocks. We were very happy we chose to stay here for our last night in Ireland.
