The website is deceiving and as many hotels in greece chooses to show one or two great photos of their "amazing gardens and swimming pool."
When you arrive you will see a parking area which is not cleaned often, dirty windows and an exterior that looks like it may have been renovated a long time ago....
Once inside the reality is a once beautifully designed pool area is now with the surrounding area of a bar/cafe that looks abandoned ,
a few umbrellas ( not nearly enough for a hotel this size) and broken down chez lounge chairs looking like they are from the 70's with holes and ready for the garbage.

In cases like this the hotel may as well stayed state run, the privatisation only changed the owner and probably raised the rates and did nothing to really improve what could be a nice hotel with amazing location and view of Volos.
Some rooms seem to have been renovated however the air conditioning system certainly was not, and runs when it feels like working, humming and groaning like its on its last days. Was so hot in the room, at 5 am was at least 30 degrees with air con on full speed.

Breakfast leaves little to be desired, service was okay, but overall not what i would expected.

More than likely will move to another hotel, dont see staying a second night here, the 95 euro room is worth 50 euro at best.
Recommend only if you pay little and have no other choice.

We stayed at this hotel with our two children aged 4+7. The hotel is situated on an excellent location outside the village but walking distance from the center. The hotel restaurant Veranda boasts one of the best views in the area overlooking the city of Volos. The rooms(Junior suite) was on the ground floor with a private sun deck and easy access to the swimming pool. The room was clean, well equipped and spacious for the four persons. The children slept on two separate bed sofas. Breakfast was decent not missing anything. The staff was very friendly and ready to accommodate our needs.

Room Tip: ground floor rooms have easy access to swimming pool.

This hotel represents good value and with everything considered is just about a 4 rating. The hotel itself however is dated and more of a 3 star. The pictures on the website flatter the hotel and the rooms. The location is good with beautiful views and within walking distance of the village. The pool is nice but the pool area is dated with well worn patio and pool furniture. The drinks at the pool were expensive and the dreadful coffee was served unbelievably in polystyrene cups! The room we stayed in was very dated with an old air conditioning system. The bathroom was adequate. The adjacent restaurant had stunning views and the food was excellent and it was this which pushed the hotel into the 4 rating. Breakfast was good. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite.

Room Tip: choose an upper room facing the pool

Nice place with great, friendly service. Front desk has been amazing with all assistance and requests. Pool area is nice although service was not very attentive when we first arrived poolside, restaurant has delicious food, live Greek music and a SPECTACULAR view of the port. Rooms are OK which is why not a full 5 stars. They are a bit dated, carpet is old but the bathrooms are updated and nice. Paid 88€ a night and would definitely recommend at this price. Be sure to head over to Agios Ioannis beach area. It's about 35km over the mountain and takes about 45 minutes if you drive cautiously but the water is emerald green and beautiful. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

We stayed for 2 days at the hotel for a business meeting. There is a conference room for that reason. Rooms are really clean and some of them have a fantastic view. Breakfast was more than good and the lunch that we tried also very nice. You have to walk around 5 minutes to go to the taverns. Nearby is a coffee- bar with extremely nice view. The most important thing I MUST notice is how friendly were the hotel stuff. Everybody was with a smile. All of us we noticed a lady during the breakfast, was so friendly, she served us with a smile. She enjoyed her job! The most important thing!
