Dream place! Absolutely the best destination to stay in Sri Lanka. You can feel yourself like a princess:) Villa is just so amazing. Comfortable and very clean. In villa you have personal cheff, who can make delicious dishes, he is so nice and very friendly. Also there is a person who will clean your room every day.
Villa with a nice pool includes also best beach I have ever seen in my life. AND IT IS PRIVTE. No tourist at all, so you can just relax on the beach with your friends.
And what is also good, all nice places to see and visit is very near. Like Galle and Hikkaduwa. I definitely recommend!
Villa Nilaya is the kind of place that you never get enough of. The luxury villa smack on the beach in habaradua Sri Lanka has the most spectacular view, staff that make it home for you the second you arrive and attention to detail that prop it right up there in the league of some of the most fabulous boutique properties you will experience around the world.
The Chef tosses meals for you from the menu and quite often even off the menu and makes sure they are tailored to your palate while still retaining their authentic Sri Lankan taste.
The villa is only 30 minutes away from Galle Fort, one of the most charming spots in SL, marked as a heritage property with vibrant restaurants that stand where the Dutch Hospital once was and abundant spices and spa goodies that are synonymous with Ceylon.
Can't wait to be back very soon.

Amazing villa and service team. Great for family vacation, fantastic view and most importantly everyone had amazing time over here! For sure we will come back for another holiday again! Thank you!
It's a seven star property. It is right on the beach, about 25 minutes drive from Galle. The ground floor has got a big open drawing room overlooking pool and the beach + kitchen and a toilet. The upper floor has 2 bedrooms with toilets and a big balcony. The view from the house is absolutely amazing. The beach is very clean, safe and almost private since locals don't come to this side. One can spend hours just sitting on sunbeds and listening to the beautiful sound of waves. The property is maintained very well. Chef Prabhat, Ayesh(cleaner) and Wilmat(security) were always at our service with a smile on their faces. The Sri Lankan veg food prepared by Prabhat was just too good. It is an ideal place for families, friends, and couples. Already planning for next year. Wish could have posted some beautiful pictures taken here !!
We had great expectations for Villa Nilaya from the website and it did not disappoint !! - From the moment that the taxi pulled into the drive , it had the WOW factor with the view through the open main doors through the villa to the crashing waves of the sea. The ground floor is so well designed that you instantly feel at home - so comfortable with the various spaces flowing into the garden and the beach beyond - magical use of design and space !The furnishings and colour scheme reinforced the WOW factor.
The bedrooms were great in layout and the bathrooms were spacious and well finished - great design with plenty of space for both of us to use at the same time - no hassles. One drawback is the saloon doors which open direct onto the WC so privacy could be an issue, but there is a separate bathroom downstairs .Opening the blinds in the morning and looking out on the ocean was so uplifting and got the day off to a real holiday start.
The staff were excellent - with Prabath showing off his culinary skills in cooking whatever we wanted based on what he could get locally - he was so helpful and resourceful , that we did not try any of the excellent restaurants close by, as it was so relaxing eating in !!
The beach was great for walks and swimming - tho' can be dangerous with the rip tide so caution needed!- but the pool was great for cooling off - great little bar( German name ?) up the beach for mojios/beer and watching the sun set.
There are always some downers -The traffic noise can be disruptive in the night as the heavy lorries /buses use it at speed in the early hours - so ear plugs are wise particularly for bedroom 1 next to the stairs which has an open vent to the bathroom - the website panorama video shows a big building next door which is a villa where the upper balconies do overlook the garden and your sun loungers - so no topless if you are shy !,but it was not a problem for us - otherwise excellent all round and looking forward to the return trip :-)
