Just spent a weekend with family members. Our stay exceeds our expectation thanks to welcoming and excellent service and professionalism shown by Mr Kevin Narainsammy from Front Office/ Reception.
Food was great and room well maintained.
This was our third stay and look forward to be there for our next holiday.
Ok, so we are Club Med regulars and have been to a number of their resorts around the world - but have returned to this one a number of times.
You can definitely see and feel some of the effects of covid, and we needed to adjust to these.
Reduced GO numbers and the introduction of Schedules!!!!
However, there were definitely some real positives, and as a result, we had one of the best family holidays ever.
Food and Restaurants:
The variety of food has definitely reduced, however, the quality has improved. - Nash, Sebastian, Farhaaz, Nassar and Afzal - making meal times a pleasure. David and Fred in the Alma bar were great,
The waterski team were great. Again, we needed to navigate the scheduling as 8 and 12 year olds only get a very limited time to ski, but once they realised that they were comfortable behind the boat, they got to ski more. They even taught them to slalom, which made their holiday. Massot, Trishy, Blue, Yovin and the rest of the team are nothing sort of amazing.
Last but not least - The Euro Divers team. Wow, these guys are without doubt the most professional and friendly dive outfit we have ever had the pleasure of diving with. We dived as a family with James and his team - and they made it one of the best experiences ever. Great equipment, excellent local knowledge and a great understanding of the conditions meant that every dive was awesome.
Would we go back - Definitely - as soon as we can and it will be top of our list.

Food was good especially if you like raw meat, but because the language is mainly french we didn’t understand much at all in the entertainment department. There was no daily activity board, just an evening dress code. Couldn’t find kids / teen club, asked and staff pointed but couldn’t take us.Second time here, not sure you will see me again. Evening dances were lots of fun. The staff seemed to let it down. No one seemed to be doing anything during the day to encourage adults or kids to join. And no matter what meal time, tables were never set properly.
This is the third and definitely last time I will ever come to a Club Med in Mauritius. Staff is rude and unhelpful. Each manager doesn’t know what the other one is doing. Place is filthy. Sheets are broken. Tissue dispenser in room doesn’t get replaced. Spider webs in bathroom. Flies and ants all over the Buffett and no one cares. Food is poor and boring and repetitive. Bring your own spoons as there aren’t any to be found in the dining room. See the pics.
The place is underwhelming.... for what time spend for what you get is nothing... don't waste your time unless you spend your time here. We were expecting great service and help through put but during the day pass no matter what, your drinks are limited your food time is on a restriction. Don't even bother.

We are sorry to see that our services did not meet your complete satisfaction. Club Med's expertise is quite different and we consider the quality of our meals as an essential value within our service. In order to offer the best service, our resort has snacking times (from 11h30 to 13h00 and 16h00 to 17h30) and the main restaurant opens from 12h00 to 14h00 PM. the day pass package is all inclusive therefore the drinks at the main bar are included.
In spite of this perfectible experience, I hope to have the pleasure of seeing you again soon in one of our villages.
