“A lovely cottage in a great location,a very nice stay.”
Reviewed 6 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Sue's cottage has everything you need for the perfect stay,we couldn't have wished for a better break in Symonds yat. we liked the fact that it was a few minutes walk to the river where there is the hand ferry to take you across to the 'Saracens' where you'll get lovely food and a great pint. There was absolutely nothing negative about our stay, and even though the weather could have been kinder,we thoroughly enjoyed our short break. I'd recommend it to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

“Incredibly well-stocked cottage in fantastic location”

We travelled to Symonds Yat with two babies so it was great to find absolutely everything we needed in the cottage. There was no need to worry about spares of anything and everything was spotless. The location is fantastic, parking's great and it feels safe and friendly. It's a single-track road with pulling over spots to get there so not particularly fun at night but once you get used to the route it's fine. It would have been great to have an easily accessible shop within easy walking distance but apart from that, it was great!

“Beautiful cottage in a dream location”
Reviewed 1 June 2013 for a stay in May 2013

Much thought care and attention has gone into this cottage it was immaculate set above a valley overlooking the river the location was perfect. Three pubs within walking distance (2 over the river) all serving excellent food we were spoilt for choice and the amount of wildlife outside the window was fantastic would definitely return.

2 adults, plus 2 kids (8 and 2 yrs). More than pleased with the cottage and the amenities. The provision of games and DVDs was particularly welcome. There were all the kitchen utensils you could possibly need, and the beds were very comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay again.

“Off the beaten track”
Reviewed 8 March 2013 for a stay in February 2013

Stayed for a weekend towards the end of Feb 2013. A really lovely spot, outstanding views across the river (even in winter). The cottage was very clean and had every conceivable item you would require. As there were 4 of us staying the overall layout was just right.
We had a great night at the local pub Old Ferrie Inn the manager was a brilliant host.
We liked the cottage so much we tried to book in for the Easter holidays but understandably it was booked. As a group we visit a number of cottages in the UK for week long and weekend jaunts and we all agreed this was one of the best. Just do it.
