This bar is a little out of town, but within walking distance of the town.
We visited several times in April and most of the time we were the only diners, but this is true of the whole of the town!
Bar Maron opens the kitchen at 20.30, like other Spanish restaurants. The menu is extensive and delicious. Portions are generous. Three "racions" and a bottle of wine came in at about 22 euros and this was enough for two people. No English is spoken, but the staff make certain you understand what you have ordered and enjoy the food.
We always had "choco frito" which is fried calamari. The batter was so light and crispy, you could hardly notice it. Any meat dishes were always tender. Give this place a try, it is very good value for money
