The place looked good, Trip Advisor gave good reviews and it was close enough to Paris to catch a Train from Vernon to take our 4 year old to the Jardin de Luxembourg to sail a boat in the pond. Almost as soon as we got the the bad vibrations started, wipe feet, OK fair enough, no running on house, OK, Don't scrape on the gravel drive OK, no kicking ball near flowers...err OK, no shouting in garden...er he's 4 and on holiday and it was 6.00pm. Not much fun for parents now on constant supervision duty. Breakfast good but over fussy. Room good but at 125 Euro a night just not great value. Luckily we did get an upgrade to the rooms in the top of the house, nice beds but poor seating just 2 club chairs and two leather deck chairs, no door either, just a hatch cover arrangement at night. Kept moving stuff out of out little boys way and were accused of stealing a T Pot? It's on the shelf out of the way...sheesh! Had booked for 3 days changed this to 2 nights within 30 minutes of arrival. So afraid of our son damaging things we walked on egg shells the whole time. Finished the break by booking into a Pierre et Vacance, which was lovely.
