We had a wonderful six nights here. A beautiful little village with plenty of restaurants and a small shop that had everything we needed, all a short walk. The house is wonderfully set up with everything we needed plus a whole lot more than usual and the fridge was stocked with water, juice, butter, milk and even a bottle of bubbly to get us started on arrival. Downstairs was lovely and cool despite temperatures up to 30 degrees during the day. Unfortunately we weren’t able to meet the owners but Susan communicated with us both before and during our stay to ensure we had all we needed. The outdoor setting was well set up and relaxing. The tour of the nearby Château de Meursault cellars was well worth the cost (not cheap) with good wines at the end and a souvenir glass to take home. We didn’t travel very far due to wanting a restful week, but plenty to do if we had wanted to. We highly recommend this place and would most definitely go back again if only we lived closer to it. May venture back there anyway.
We spent a very pleasant week in Meursault, the charming capital of Chardonnay. Decisive for this was the beautiful, excellently equipped house with the nice garden in the midst of vineyards. Many beautiful and famous villages and sites of burgundy are close. Meursault offers a lot and thanks to the hints we received we discovered a lot (not just Chardonnay). We will very probably come back! Thank you very much!!
We spent 7 days in House One and it is one of the best holiday houses we have ever stayed in, beautifully presented and set amongst the vines in the beautiful village of Meursault. Short walk to bakeries, butcher, supermarket and numerous restaurants, what more could you ask for.
Thank you Susan for allowing us to share your truly lovely house.
We arrived for a weeks stay and were so pleased with our choice of location as it could not have been more perfect.
The house is spacious and beautifully furnished and has every mod con you could wish for. With the most amazing views and 26 degree sun and food shops selling the best produce you need not go out to eat but cook or bbq and enjoy the surroundings.
Right in the middle of the village you can walk to some amazing restaurants and wine shops.
In the heart of Burgundy and with loads of vineyards and wine makers on your doorstep this location is perfect for a wine touring gourmet loving holiday.
Could not fault it !!!
We spent Easter in the charming, cosy and welcoming House 1 and it was the perfect base. Meursualt has everything you need just a few steps away and the house itself is perfectly set-up; should you choose to relax or cook up a storm in the kitchen. Susan and Andy have thought of everything. Not to mention the glorious views from every room...
We hope to come back again soon!
