“Wish that we could've stayed even longer”
Reviewed 3 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

It was wrenching to leave. This was a top-quality house with all sorts of attention to detail, plus modern convenience at every turn. Imagine all the effort that it surely took to create this wonderful home. The kitchen was the best of all our rentals during a month across Burgundy. The bedrooms were excellent as was the living room (an ipod dock---luxury!) and we loved the reliable showers. The backyard was a quiet little respite. The street and neighbourhood could fairly be called quintessential small-town France, where traditions still run strong. The upcoming games room, which will apparently be in the garage, should be interesting. We missed the Pascal Bonheur wine welcome (a cremant was in its place) was that was a small detail. One area for improvement would be the massive, front garage door. It got stuck on our second morning and we had a stressful time trying to un-jam it. Luckily, a neighbour and his employee came to our rescue and eventually opened it for us. We also had a phone call with the owner about the problem. Then the following morn, the property contact, Stefanie, arrived with a proper repairman. He used his tools and expertise to do a more permanent solution. Next time, we will try to convince another couple to join us here. This rental wazzam (was and still is) a fantastic place to stay and experience genuine Burgundian viniculture. I am done. The end.

Peaceful cottage to the edge of the village. Very quiet with a lovely walled garden. Plenty of room for 2-4 people. Easy walk to the village. Full service village. We will definitely return.

“Fabulous! great house, great location.”

My husband & I stayed in the house with friends and used it as a base from which to tour the burgundian vineyards. The house has been tastefully renovated and has the best equipped kitchen I have found in holiday rental accommodation. The owners provided excellent information regarding the town of Meursault and the surrounding area. We had a great time, the standard of the house has spoilt us in terms of booking further accommodation in France.

“Comfort and culture - perfect mix”

We've spent a fantastic week at this charming house. It's comfortable and spacious, located in a quiet residential street overlooking vineyards and within walking distance of the centre of Meursault with its village shops, bars and restaurants.

The building restoration work has been completed to a high spec and the owners have ensured that it's very well-equipped and spotless. The information that they provided about the property and local area was very informative.

The region offers plenty of things to see and do if you enjoy history, culture and fine food and wine.

“A beautifully restored, modern, clean and well equipped holiday house.”

What a find! A beautifully restored, modern, clean and well equipped holiday house. We have stayed in France many times but this has been the best accommodation by far. The house was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The bedding and towels were high quality and the electric shutter system secured the property when we were not around. Next door had an excellent and very friendly wine producer and the the small lane in front of the house was very quiet. A ten minute walk into the beautiful village of Meursault gave us excellent restaurants, a bakery, cafés and small shops. A 10 minute drive to Beaune and a walk through the vineyards to Puligny Montrachet for a wine tasting lunch was a highlight!
