“Wonderfull place to stay, wonderfull holiday”
Reviewed 1 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

A lovely home for a holiday.. We had a wonderfull time despite the rainy weather for a few days. Such a small place, but lots to see. Scenery was something else. Everything was just a few steps away. Shops, ferries ect. A great location. A big thanks to Karen for making everything so nice and my grandaughter loved the toys in her room. Theresa Stewart

“Spacious, quiet home with great views next to the best bakery in Scotland!”
Reviewed 3 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Very comfortable house, lovely linen, huge super-king beds and nicely furnished throughout. Wonderful location with an ever changing view over the yachts, ferries and fishing boats in the harbour. A much more interesting base from which to explore the road to the isles and Skye than our usual choice of a remote cottage. Welcomed with a bottle of bubbly and shortbread too which were lovely touches. Bakery opposite really does make croissants and bread to die for.

“A lovely spacious & comfortable house.”

Great accommodation, beautifully equipped, bed linen & towels, first rate. I shall miss the marvellous view from the windows - watching the boats coming & going , & then the lights of the harbour at night - wonderful. We were really lucky with the weather, but if it had been cold & wet, the house has central heating - slightly oddly timed! - plus a wood burning stove in one room & an electric fire in the other - terrific to have two reception rooms!
BUT there are two considerations which were a bit of a problem: firstly, only one bathroom, & as we were a group of 6 adults, including a disabled person we really could have done with another. The downstairs cloakroom was a great boon in this case! Then the lack of wifi, & sometimes poor phone signal. There is no microwave or dishwasher - although this was not a problem for us, perhaps others may expect it.
But still, a lovely house to stay in, & the convenience of Mallaig & the ferries on the doorstep! Wonderful - we thouroughly enjoyed our stay there.

“Great Family Holiday Home”

We spent a fantastic week in Bayview holiday cottage which has great views over Mallaig harbour. The house is very well equipped and is very clean with plenty of room for our family of three children. The shops, cafes and galleries of Mallaig are only a minute away from the front door.

I would recommend Mallaig as a holiday destination as it is a perfect mix of small town whilst being very close to the amazing beaches nearby.

We would definitely recommend Bayview and the Mallaig area in general for a family holiday. We will definitely be back.
