Seascape is an ‘upside down’ house, with one double bedroom and shower downstairs, kitchen, lounge diner (with stunning views of the sea over the roofs of the houses opposite) and two further bedrooms (double and twin) upstairs. There was a stair gate fixed at the top of the stairs, to provide reassurance for those with children. The kitchen is clean and well equipped, providing plenty of glasses, crockery and cutlery for the five of us. Views from the lounge diner are down the coast and we enjoyed watching the sunsets while we ate. The house is built on a hill, so you can walk straight out of the back door into the terraced, well kept garden, with more views. At night it was a lovely place to observe hundreds of stars. This was our third visit to Seascape, and we hope it won’t be our last.
Thanks Anne and Dave for a lovely week in your house. The house is a great size for a family of 5 and very well equipped for all our needs. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting out on the front with the lovely view of the sea and pier in the distance and also some lovely meals outside on the top terrace, again with a sea view and some wonderful sunsets. Great location for both the village, the cliff top walks and the beach and lovely and quiet. we look forward to returning next year!
This cottage is home from home and very relaxing.
Every home comfort has been thought about and provided.
Lovely garden to relax in after a day out.
In fact everything you need for a top quality self catering cottage.
Owners are very friendly and easy to contact should you require any help.
Lovely cottage, wonderful sea views and only a short walk to the harbour with lovely restaurants and pubs.
Cottage was extremely well equipped and comfortable, nice garden with furniture but the weather wasn’t kind to us.
Would recommend and stay again in the future.
We’ve just returned from a week’s stay in this lovely, clean, very well equipped cottage.Everything has been thought out so well.
The rooms are all spacious ,the beds and pillows comfy and there are plenty of soft towels too. Loads of hanging space, hangers and drawers in the bedrooms and space for our provisions in the kitchen.
The area around is so quiet...we could just hear the gentle swoosh of the waves on the nearby beach. The sunsets were magical...loads of photos taken from the lovely safely tiered back garden. It was an easy stroll down to the pretty harbour and shops and then a Kelly’s ice cream to encourage us back again!
I would encourage anyone who wants to stay in Porthleven to stay here!
