The apartments are very clean and well looked after. have stayed here about three times and would not hesitate to recommend them. About 7 minute walk to all shops etc. Small hill up to them but not too bad.

Room Tip: Best views from 2nd or 3rd floor

The apartment was very clean and cleaned during our stay during the week.
Towels changed regularly.
We were on the second floor and was lovely and private, a sun trap all day.
Reception has opening times with a small mini market for water, drinks, etc.
Staff were very helpful.
Only thing missing was a bar but we could understand that why there was none.
For peace and quite both day and evening.
Beds were a bit hard.
Local supermarkets are about 5min walk main center and beach about 10min.
Over all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Monte Verde Apartments.

Room Tip: Look for the 2nd or 3rd floor. Ground floor goes onto a small pool but you have a very small private area there.

were back from a week in gran canaria we stayed in monte verde apts ,we got as a last minute holiday deal and after reading a few reviews we were a bit apprehensive, we shouldn't have been the apartments are basic but extremely clean and well maintained, two single beds in all rooms so just have to push beds together all rooms are the same and a lot of apartments on the island are the same, ideal location it is about a five min walk to pubs and nightlife and shopping ,10 mins walk to beach and harbor and a 2 min walk to bus depot there is a little hill nothing much (and i wouldn't be the gym going type )but yet quiet enough not to hear the nightlife from apartments
the apartment have only three floors a small complex no lifts so if not able for stairs ask for ground floor.air conditioning is €20 for the week well worth it as temp was 36 Celsius the week we were there, €10 for the safe for the week , all rooms have kettle and toaster,tv €15 for the week or €1 per hour :) no hairdryers can rent €15 for the week along with other rentable items, the rooms are cleaned every day the pillows are a killer just one flat pillow just ask at reception for more pillows they give them to you no problem :) free wifi ask for code at reception works best on balcony?
the apartments and pool get the sun from about 10am to 6pm in September
the balcony on all apartments are fab we stayed on the 3rd floor so total privacy and a sun trap for sun bathing if you wish to.
there is a small shop in apartments but the shops in the strip are cheaper there is no pub in complex.
the nightlife is a short stroll away dicys bar/hoops is good and lively.

the trip to mogan is worth it go on the salmon ferry €10pp only 40 mins and so relaxing compared to a two and a half hour bus trip !!! on a Friday mogan has a market on so if you can go on a Friday great, if not it nice for quiet meal or to get nice gifts.the little village is beautiful well worth it

we done the sunset cruise on the supercat on a Thursday it was the highlight of our trip well worth the €55 pp yes might be pricey but considering it leaves @3:30pm and back @ 9pm after sunset, with a free bar on board wine/beer and dinner provided with Jacuzzi and seating great for getting a tan, it stops for a hour for swimming in the sea and jet skiing at a additional €30 for two same cost for parasailing cheaper than at the beach in Puerto Rico, not into water sports stay on boat and soak up sun and free bar well worth it such a relaxing and fun day, you'll need swim wear /towel and jumper ect for sunset time

we went to aqua land we got the 70 bus from bus depot €5 return pp it took about a hour to get there ,it wasn't in our opinion great it around €30 pp in and additional €4 for a sun lounger €7 euro per locker we were very disappointed with the water park
there is one good slide across from the wave pool, the wave pool was so disappointing loads of people were saying it better waves the shore in the beach the kids area is good for toddlers and kids but if in a couple your missing nothing by not going here

nice place to eat is down by the harbor of the water sports called the Arizona they dont pull you in and annoy you very relaxing and food is lovey and bar next to it is lovely for after meal for relaxing cocktails

drink is very cheap and in the dino market spirits are very cheap €10 for liter bottle of Smirnoff vodka, most 1 liter spirits under €20
the airport shopping is brilliant very good duty free loads of shops to keep you busy waiting on your flight

Room Tip: 3rd floor if fit to use stairs its so private ,ground floor straight out onto pool

This was good, sun on the apartment 's terrace from 8.45 until about 6 pm. The pool is yours, nobody swims. The apartments are so close to everything it must be a mistake that they are only two stars. Clean and bright. Carmello, in reception is a gentleman, everything costs, but the extras cost nothing. A Euro or two, the air conditioning was 20 euro for the week and brought the apartment to a cool 17 C.
Cleaners came in nearly every day and the towels were always immaculate. The beds were Spanish, we are in Spain! We are definitely coming again. For a longer stay.
