We went here because it is supposedly the best food on the island and, after eating here, I would tend to agree! The service was generally impeccable, the food was fantastic, and the sunset was gorgeous!
We made 18:30 reservations the day before which was a good call because many people got turned away as we arrived. The host asked us to be finished by 20:30 which was no big deal. The service was, at first, a bit rushed but they were always courteous and attentive.
They surprised us with an "amuse brouche" which was excellent but they charged us for it. No big deal at €3 each. The menu is not large but it had a wide variety of selections. We got the beef carpaccio appetizer and it was incredible. Very tender and very tasty. We had two main courses, the lobster risotto and the cherry tomato salad. Both were incredible. For dessert, we read about the "baklava" and it was incredible. It's not baklava although it's made from similar ingredients. It's definitely worth it. Each meal was great and presented as art work!
Towards the end, we finished off with the gourmet coffee and tea. They were very good but definitely not worth the price. At this point, the service dropped off and it took us a long time to get he bill. It's a bit pricey but worth it. We would have asked for the bill sooner, but we wanted to see if they kicked us out at 20:30 as they said before. They didn't and we left in time, full and happy!
