Review of Citadelle de Corte

Citadelle de Corte
Ranked #3 of 23 things to do in Corte
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 19 July 2017 via mobile

The citadelle itself was nothing special. Good thing that small entrance fee also includes access to the historical museum of Corte. The old town surrounding the citadelle is however very quaint.

This was capital of Corsica before more than 200 years. Narrow street and many stairways is so beautifull. Exellent view from Belvedere on all old town.

It's only worth to go if you're planning to go hiking or other sport activities. The village doesn't offer much at all.

This attraction, which is startling, will tell you what the flowers are growing on the rock sides of the path but it won't tell you how to get to the citadel
This is not suitable for older people or disabled. There are no paths that are easy to walk on.

Drove all the way from Porte veccio (3 hr drive) and museum and then the citadel was closed too which didn't know that they were connected so just looked at the wall

Very annoying
