I booked this motel based on price and the fact it had a kitchenette. It is located right on the Main Street so it was easy to find. Built in the 1950's, it has that classic motel feel but the room we stayed in was lovely, modern, tastefully decorated, clean and cosy. All of the kitchen essentials you would imagine are found; the bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels and a nice sampling of toiletries; the bed was very comfortable with a great mattress, enough blankets and plenty of good pilllows. Wifi signal is strong and tv reception great. All in all it was a very pleasant surprise and we would stay here again!

Room tip: Fabulous value!

This motel is on the main highway but the rooms are down the sides of the building. So there was very little road noise, in fact it was fairly quiet. You could certainly see the mountains.
The owner, John, is a very nice, hard working guy, he was very friendly and welcoming, he gave us lots of local information. He is working hard on this place having owned it for 2 years.
The room was large, very clean and tidy. There was a kitchen diner, fridge, oven and microwave. Enough crockery, cutlery and glasses and other small things that help if you want to dine in; salt & pepper, paper napkins etc. It made it more homely!
The bed was very comfy, bathroom more than adequate!
It's in a good location for touring the area.
We stayed 2 nights, 17th & 18th Sept 2017. Would stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay with you John, thank you, keep on working on it, you're nearly there and you certainly deserve to succeed!

This is a small privately owned motel – the delightful John is owner now.
There were all kitchen appliances, full size frig, stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, paper towels, detergent. Napkins, salt and pepper.
It was a spacious room, with quiet AC and quiet area.
It is in an industrial and residential neighbourhood and the outside is not appealing. The room was large, but the bathroom a bit small, and my husband found the shower a bit low. There wasn't a mirror for a short person.
Built in 1953, it is an older building. We had two double beds which were comfortable.

What a fantastic find this was. Not sure what to expect having used motels in Cali, but this was brilliant. Big, roomy, modern interiors. Huge BBQ to use and John was such a friendly guy. Thanks for making us feel welcome. 👍

We were looking for a dog friendly accommodation in Osoyoos but most places were really expensive or if they weren't, they did not look like any place we would want to stay in. Found the Mount View Motel in Oliver online, read the reviews and booked it. It exceeded our expectations. The room was large, nicely renovated, the beds were comfortable. It was nice to stay at a small, privately owned 1950's hotel. John the owner was very welcoming. We will absolutely stay there again!
