Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and 2 children aged 9 and 11 for a break to climb Snowden. We stayed in the family room that has a double bed and 2 single beds. Tea and coffee making facilities with crisps and biscuits too. When we arrived Sue the owner made us tea and coffee with cake whilst the kids got into the heated swimming pool to chill after a long drive. Sue effectivly lets you have the run of the house, which boasts a full size snooker table also a large TV with all Sky channels. There is also a bar in the house which you can chose what you want and Sue respects your honesty re taking the drinks. Overall a lovely base which offers far more than your average B&B. Is in a good location with a couple of bars nearby. White horse was very nice. Excellent breakfast.

My son, who is hard to please, wants to give them 100 out of 10.

It's very well maintained, and scrupulously clean - though I guess our stay was just before the window-cleaner's usual visit.

Owen and Susan were very lovely to chat with - and never intrusive.

Susan wasn't used to catering for a vegan group, though she took it on willingly, and the results were good.

My wife very much appreciated Susan doing a pre-arranged late meal, as she was arriving after travelling some 22 hours.

The heated outdoor swimming pool is very nice - clean - long with an adequate deep-end - and pleasantly free from chlorine.

The snooker table is a good way to relax, and there are 3 lounges which guests can use.

Room tip: It's a bit difficult to find, though you will recognise the stunning building from the web-page.

We just stayed one night while in the area for a wedding. Tall Trees is a beautiful property but, more than that, Susan could not have done any more to make us feel more welcome - from tea and cake on arrival, fresh milk outside the room the in the morning and pastries for the journey - it was all fab. I would highly recommend.

this is a stunning property in a great location and only 10 min walk to village and couple of pubs. It provides secure parking , outdoor heated pool and views of mountains. Our room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed and nice ensuite. Breakfast was one of the best we have had using local produce served in a conservatory overlooking the gardens. If you are looking for a little luxury in a secluded country setting but near to a village for pubs etc then this is great. Sue the owner cant do enough and is lovely. We recommend this place and plan on returning .

Room tip: seems all rooms have a great view. this is excellent b and b for motorcyclists !

Stayed at tall trees for one night as was attending a friend's wedding. Not only is it a beautiful guest house in a wonderful area the owners couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. Would highly recommend to anyone.
