We stayed here (group of 9 girls) as a stop off from a rerouted flight from Portugal to Bristol due to French Air controller Strikes ... excellent service ... clean tidy smart modern rooms ... lovely comfy beds ... tea & coffee making facilities ... perfect distance to retail outlet park... nice food ... thank you!

Stayed: October 2017, travelled with friends

This was a good option for the price. The room is are big and there was plenty of room for us, the case, pram and the travel cot we needed.

Breakfast was pretty good, although plates were small, but as it's buffet anyway, it doesn't really make too much difference. I guess they're trying to steer you to having a bap, rather than a full fry up. The sausages tasted a bit weird but were ok. We were there over the weekend and it was really quiet at breakfast. Plenty of seats although they only had one high chair and although only one other table was there when we went down they needed the high chair too so I had to balance the baby on my knee until the other family had finished.

The room was clean when we arrived but they didn't change the mugs after we used them on the first day and I noticed stains on the towels.

The location was great for us as we had a hire car and were exploring the North coast as well as Belfast.

Staff all very friendly.

A decent hotel and was much cheaper than many other options so I was fairly happy with it.

The holiday Inn Express in Antrim has been our hotel of choice in the past, if flying from Belfast airport or going to the Stena Line ferry port. This time, however, we were unhappy with this hotel. We were unhappy with the room. The first one on the ground floor had a broken window and we felt would be a security issue. The second room offered was on the second floor, and there too, again were maintenance issues. The kettle was very stained, as if someone had brewed coffee in it, we asked housekeeping to exchange it, and it was done but did take about 30 minutes. The plumbing in this hotel has problems. The water from the tap was warm or warm, it was impossible to get cold water. The shower looked great but the pressure was not great. The staff were a little rushed and very few staff, were on duty. All in all, a very expensive night at £81 and that was at reward rates. Not great value for money, even if breakfast was included. The breakfast was self service and buffet. Machine teas and coffee. Not sure we would return.

Room Tip: not the ground floor.

Having toured a bit in northern Ireland this was our last stop before our flight home, we booked it due to it being relatively close to Belfast airport, out of the hotels we stayed in , one 4* and also the causeway hotel this was our favourite ( and by far the cheapest ) it was clean modern and the staff were very helpful and friendly, we both wished we stayed there instead of the 4* in Belfast we stayed in. we had an early flight and found that breakfast was ready so we managed to have coffee and toast etc before leaving. we would stay here again, well done to all the staff
