“Quirky, idiosyncratic but we are repeat visitors”
Reviewed 8 August 2018 for a stay in August 2018

Quirky, yes. Idiosyncratic, yes. But if you want a base to do more than just sit on the beach in Viking Bay this could be the place for you. It is very close to the Railway Station (though this means you can hear the trains), the Loop (the most useful bus in Thanet) and most other bus routes. It is also close to the High Street shops, the Library and just about everywhere in Broadstairs.

We are repeat visitors. Is that good enough for you?

Just returned from a 3 night break at Score Cottage, what a place! Granted the outside leaves a lot to be desired however the inside is spot on. The place was spotless, the bed is comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed, a nice secure garden that the dog loved! The location is great, on a really quiet close, and only a short walk from the centre of Broadstairs. A true home from home and we would stay again.

“glorious sunny Score Cottage”
Reviewed 8 May 2018 for a stay in May 2018

perfect location, close to shops, bars, beach, train station, restaurants. parking in the street outside but easy to park. Score Cottage is quirky and has lots of interesting things doted around which adds to the way it has been decorated, its like stepping back in time. Not to everyones taste but we loved it. Weather was glorious sunshine for our four day stay, we spent a lot of time in the garden and as some people have said it is a little over grown. We see a pair of robins, sparrows, blue tit, great tit, seagulls of course! And a very friendly squirrel. Kitchen had every utensil you could need, well equipped although we didn't eat in as lots of restaurants nearby.

“Interesting cottage”

Our first impression from the outside was not good, as the cottage had an unkempt appearance, and not in keeping with the rest of the road.
However, we had a lovely 3 days here, the weather was sunny and warm with the beach and shops only about 5 minutes walk from the cottage. Our dogs loved the garden. We liked the character of the cottage and the garden, it was like we had stepped back in time with lots of quirky things to discover.
Both the cottage and the garden are in need of TLC
The shower did not have very much water pressure, hence we could not have a good shower.
The bed was very cosy and comfortable. We also liked the barn door in the kitchen, however, the dining area was not inviting.
