My wife, 10 month old son and I stayed in apartment 3 for a week in October (I'm not sure it was this apartment, but I cannot find the exact same one listed on Trip Advisor). We had a fabulous time. The apartments are part of a converted wing of a big 'manor' house. We came in Autumn, so the pool was out of action but looked lovely. There was lots of space, both inside and out. The apartment was nicely decorated and furnished, and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen was adequate (we checked the facilities beforehand). There is a 4 ring hob, a microwave, kettle and fridge / freezer. No oven. My only criticism is that the kitchen could be slightly better stocked (e.g. no wine glasses, vegetable peeler). However, there is much to be said for drinking chianti out of a tumbler.
Giacomo and Maria were extremely helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed freshly baked bread and pastries delivered to the apartment every day and they were able to help with all of our questions.
We travelled in October, when the lake was fairly quiet. However, I suspect this is quite a good place to be based during high season too because it is 2 or 3 minutes from the motorway junction, which provides much quicker links to other parts of the lake than some of the other roads. You cannot see or hear the motorway from the apartment.
We'd go back. There is loads to do around the Lake with a young child, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxed week.
