The room was beautiful, comfortable and had a great view. Staff was very welcoming and fulfilled all our special wishes (specific room, birthday). Don't miss the restaurant with their Slow Food specialities!

I joined a painting holiday recently and stayed in this hotel. The room has a little balcony with beautiful sea view. Though the room's decor is quite simple and basic on first impression, it is quite comfortable.
The dining room is tastefully elegant with art works on the walls giving it warmth. Food was excellent with seafood as main course on almost every night. Cooking was light and healthy.
We enjoyed our stay very much and felt at home easily with the very friendly hotel host and staff.

We stayed at a Villa just up the road from this restaurant but we ate dinner in the dining room twice. It was really good. A great selection on the menu. Real Italian cuisine.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Me and my wife came here for our honeymoon from 27.11 to 03.12.2016.

The weather was really nice (16-22 degrees Celsius), no rain, almost no wind and clouds. Really nice for this time of the year, which we really didnt expect because others in past years complained that it rained most of the time so we were actually expecting to spend most of our time indoors , maybe driving around ...

We came by plain to Bari airport and then rented a car and drove all the way to Furore.
Be very careful if you choose to drive in Italy. The diesel fuel is expensive, even for Europe (about 1.45 euro / litre ... compared to Germany where its around 1.05 / litre) and so is the Petrol fuel, even more expensive actually.
Also, there are tolls and most of the motorways. We ended up taking the motorway because we saved about 1,5 hours of driving time and payed about 17 euro... :O

Also, driving in Italy, especially in the South area, is ... lets just say there is a reason that sport cars tend to come from Italy :))
Drivers are more aggressive in the way they drive, sometimes they dont signal a left turn ....
Even for me, coming from Romania, which is still a latin country, i find it difficult. If you ever been to Bucharest, Romania ... they way they drive there comes the closest to what i've seen on the Amalfi and in Napoli.

The Amalfi road is simply amazing!
Its a story of its own!!!

In this time, being of season, there were almost no cars, no traffic, so because we had very good wather conditions we could really enjoy it.
I, myself, really like to drive, so the tight roards, fast curves, climbs , narrow streets that make no sens for driving ... lets just say it was like eating at a 5 star restaurant ... from a drivers perspective :)

We ended up walking a lot, even did the entire walk up-down the stairs from the hotel to the Furore Fiord (which on the map it may seed that its not a big deal ... but belive me ... there are aproximatly 1500 steps down and then 1500 up ... and its pretty steep)

The hotel has a good parking space
The food is amazing!! Around 18euro for a average main coarse of pasta, but they also give you a possibility of getting for 30 euro/person 1st and 2nd coarse + desert. In our experience we didnt need more than 1 coarse.
they also serve you wather and home-made bread before the main coarse arrives

Breakfast was ok, not very varied, probably because we were about the only people staying in the hotel. Even so, we had at least 2 types of cakes, fresh juice, very nice bread, excellent coffee (i had different kinds the first 3 days but then just stuck with Americano ... i think it was the best americano i ever had anywhere!), 2 types of ham/meat, 2 types of cheese , 6 types of jam (orange jam was great!)

We booked an apartment type room (1 main dorm with a big bed with access to a really big terrace with an amazing view to the sea and also to the surrounding houses/vineyards/etc; a second room with two small beds, which we didnt use and also a very nice and modern bathroom)
Roomservice was very good. They made the room perfect each day. We used to have late breakfast, probably around 10:00am each day, so by the time we came back to the room, about 10:45, everything was made, we never saw them coming or going.

The staff was excellent! The owner (a very nice lady, dont remember her name) made our stay very nice, recomended us places to visit, things to do and see.
There is a very good wine store/factory across from the hotel , they can arrange for you to visit and even taste some of their wine (dont know if for a fee or for free ... we didnt opt for it). One of the waiters told us that the wine factory won this year, 2016, best white wine of italy, which is something :) (about 45euro for a bottle!)

I would recommend anyone who wants to come here in the off season to do so.
Very very quiet and secluded. Very romantic and friendly. Very very different from the feel you get if you drive 1 hour to Napoli ... its like to different countries.

Room Tip: Choose one of the new rooms with sea view (our was right under the restaurant padio). The Wifi signal is acceptable.
