Good hotel, very clean and comfortable. Excellent starting point for the spectacular Amalfi drive. Our room had a fantastic sea view from both the room and the balcony. Hotel bar terrace was very pleasant and relaxing, again with great views. Staff friendly and helpful. Well appointed restaurant.

OK, the star system is odd but 4 star carries an impression against which you measure.

The hotel has an imposing cliff side location with great views up the coast for nature lovers and down the coast to Salerno harbour.

The rooms are comfortable but basic, the bathrooms are functional.

The hotel has an enormous diningroom but, without indication, the restaurant was shut during our stay.

Breakfast is adequate but not good.

The staff are friendly.

Beautiful sunrise over the sea looking east from our bedroom balcony and window. Quiet and secluded hotel which is lovely. However a bit of a walk to the main town area. Very nice room and view for the price .

Not to big, a nice hotel to enjoy the Amalfi coast. Staff was very attentive and new after the firtst day the room no. The rooms are nice, clean, with a big balcony right above the sea. Spectacular. Going down somw steep stairs, the dmall provate hotrl beach is a wonderful contrast to the crowded beaches. It's not luxuary but functional, breakfast on the terasse looking over the deep blue sea towards Salerno-unbelivable romantic. A short trip to Salerno is worthwhile, taking a boat tripp to Amalfi s must though Vietri sul Mare - a 10 min walk up from the hotel - is a much nicer village, authentic and family like. All Italian, by the way!

Wonderful location, great views, easy to get around. Vietri is a small village with a strong pottery history. La Lucertola is a perfect place to visit the sites in the area. The Ceramic Museum is wonderful.

Room Tip: Ask for an ocean view.
