Had a great stay in Niriides from 16th - 23rd September. Rooms: We had a spacious family room, always cleaned everyday, fresh towels, great shower (not always guranteed on holiday!) and the added bonus of aircon which was needed as it was still very hot! Hotel: very clean, relaxing and laid back with handy vending machines around the complex if you wanted snacks or drinks (including beer!). Two bars, one at the pool and one in the lobby, plenty of drinks to choose from, wine, spirits, beer, soft drinks. It's a good local beer plus the added bonus of a few cocktails included in the all-inclusive as well! Food: Buffet style for breakfast, lunch and dinner, always plenty of seating, food was always hot and tasty, with some local dishes featured everyday. Beer and wine available with lunch and dinner. Pool: Very clean and good temperature with plenty of sun loungers (always got one) with sun all day long, great pool bar open form 10:00am to 6:00pm. Staff: The guys on the pool bar were lovely and friendly, always happy to see youand have a chat and the lady serving at the evening bar in the lobby was always happy and smiling. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Restaurant staff always said hello and were very quick to clean and change tables ready for new diners. Location: Just a moments walk from Kolymbia's Eucalyptus Street and the bars, restaurants and shops. This is handy as there isn't evening entertainment at the hotel other than Greek dancing night, but this is the idea of the hotel, it is supposed to be relaxed and laid back. If you want a party you can walk very quickly to nightlife. Short walk to Kolymbia beach and easy distance travelling to Lindos and Rhodes Town (recommend Kolymbia Tours on Eucalyptus Street for very affordable coach transfers to these places). Overall: Great hotel, great staff, and was a perfect summer relaxing holiday. We will be back next year! Thank you all.

My friend and I stayed at the Niriides Hotel 16 - 23 Sept. I must say that having read the reviews we were a little apprehensive to day the least..!!! From the moment we drove up to the hotel it was lovely.....on arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady at reception who at first couldn't find our booking (panic) but that was quickly resolved. She gave us a family room, when we got there we decided it wasn't the room for us. We went back to reception and explained that we found the room a little claustrophobic, it wasn't a problem....she did another room search and wished as a good stay. It certainly pays to be nice to people, no matter what time of day/night or how long you've travelled, we got a fabulous room with a terrace rather than a balcony.
The following morning we came down to breakfast to find a lovely choice of goodies to cater for all nationalities.... everything was spotless, well laid out and the staff were great. The pool is wonderful.....a little cold to get into but so nice when you do. It is a very relaxing environment to be in, no loud music (just some background), no lager louts...well behaved children.! We encountered only a couple of people who were rude, we ignored them....they went away..!!!!
I am not quite sure if the people who slated the staff/food in the hotel were actually staying there. My friend and I are both quite fussy eaters and both with different tastes, however we never failed to have a lovely meal, in fact we have found far worse food in 5* establishments. We ventured out for a stroll in the evenings, then back to the hotel for a couple of drinks, Sophiana behind the bar is one amazing lady. The only complaint we had with the hotel was other than Greek night on Sunday's there is no entertainment, just someone on the patio playing guitar....maybe a song or two would make the place complete.
The hotel provides two small rooms, one ladies the other gentlemen which have a sink with a mirror and a shower and clean towels to use to freshen up before leaving for the airport.
There are several beaches near the hotel, only 5 - 10 minutes walk and well worth a visit. The bus stop (to anywhere) is around the corner, the prices have gone up slightly.... 3.9 euro each way to either Rhodes Town or Lindos, bargain.
A week wasn't long enough, wonderful hotel....Thank you to all the staff, your a lovely, hardworking bunch of people. I wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel again and quite possibly will..!!
My friend and I are both well travelled, it was only her 2nd time in Greece, lost count of how many times I have visited. We will be back, might even bring our partners next time.

Room Tip: This is not a noisy hotel, all rooms are peacefull, we also had no problems with the beds.!

We stayed for 10 days in July all inclusive. 8 adults and 7 children aged between 6 and 14.
Firstly the staff worked tirelessly to make it an enjoyable stay. The bar staff and waiters were friendly, helpful and happy.
Pool was well kept and clean with space for kids to play.
Rooms we were in original block number 115. Incredibly basic not cleaned thoroughly beds were thin mattresses and pillows. Bathroom was dated and dirty rust stains. Cleaners tried their hardest but was a losing battle. Not aircon as suggested but rather a cool slight blow of air which never made it down to the children's bedroom.
Breakfast was good but lunch and tea repetitive only one themed night on a Sunday.
No pool snacks outside which was really inconvenient.
Ice cream only for children and kids were made to get their own, these were only served an hour before lunch and an hour after. Totally not acceptable they should be available to kids and adults and all day.
Aircon is turned of at 10pm in bar at night which lends itself for an uncomfortable time in the heat to stay in there. However I think this was a ploy to make us leave.
Once again all staff were great but sadly this is not up to the title of a 4 star hotel. We would not return or recommend it.

We had an early break beginning of May and highly recommend this hotel from the warm welcome from Katrina and Sylvia to the fabulous selection of food especially Greek night. The hotel boss regularly is seen in the hotel and always says hello and thanked us for staying. The rooms are very clean and toiletries provided. You can hire beach towels which will save your luggage allowance. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the centre of town where you can find Memories and T&P bars which have live music. A great supermarket that has all the essentials that is open late handy. Bus stop for if you want to venture to Rhodes Town or Linda's. There are several beaches 15 - 20 minutes. Will definitely return a great location not too rowdy but with enough entertainment for a relaxing holiday with.
