Blue Sky City Beach Hotel

We stayed in a hotel for couple days. We got a room with panoramic sea view, it's only one excellent moment from hotel.
Desighn in the room litlle bit poor, but the prices of mini bar like in5*
I can not say anything about the housekeeping service, we've been out of our room all day and when we turn back from excursions ( late hours in the evening)our room was not clean. If you gonna stay in the hotel make a sure that you have your own bath amenities.
Location: on beach front very close to the center, so it is not necessary to rent a car to make a walk in the Rhodes town

Room size is good with a nice balcony we had a great sea view and theres lots of storage, however the bathroom was insanely small and the shower was hurrendous. You could barely wash properly without knocking into the sides constantly, there are 2 doors which join at a right angle to close, the bottom of one of the doors wasn't even attached it kept swinging around and we had to use the towels from the maids as well as the bathroom mat to mop up the floor because it leaked so badly the floor was absolutley drenched and a hazard after a shower! Theres a little shop ajoined to the side of the hotel which is handy. The restaurant was nice, waitress' and waitors were good and polite. Range of food was good but not great. The night we were leaving i ordered a couple of drinks from the bar the woman behind the bar wasn't polite or smiley at all. She then brought the drinks to the table and had brought one that i did not order, I said i had only ordered one tea and one coke and she refused to admit fault, being incredibley rude and then blatently going over the the receptionist to talk about me as she kept looking over at me. She then brought over the bill for the drinks and she hadn't taken the extra tea off the bill, So when we paid for our drinks we just left the extra money off the bill I was tempted not to pay at all the way and manor in which she spoke to me.

Room Tip: Request a sea view

we decided by chance to spend 5 days in Rodi! Good choice! The town is really fascinating, with its medieval alleys and its wonderful sea! We stayed at the Blue Sky Beach Hotel, just in front of a very beautiful beach and near the town centre (ten minutes walk). From there, you can easily rent a car or a moto and explore other beaches all around the isle. Don't miss Lindos, a nice little village, with an acropolis and an incredible view on the sea. Wherever good food and kind people.

We stayed at the Blue Sky for 2 weeks Aug 2010. Rooms were Shabby and needed renovation. Bathrooms were tiny, no bath just a shower cubicle which was about 12inches x 12iches. The hotel entrance room etc was nice, the food was good overall but very sameish and the beans in breakfast were awful! Avoid. The beach the hotel is on is the windy beach and it really is VERY Windy, manmade small and stoney. The nice beach is about a 20min walk away. Rhodes town is busy and has plenty of shops the old town is lovely a must. The harbour is a good place to visit. The pool area was very quiet which we enjoyed good service from the bar and the sunbeds where very comfy. We purchased drinks and food from the spa next door and none of the staff said anything for the 2 weeks. No entertainment whatsoever at this hotel but plenty of bars just next to the hotel which are loud with plenty going on. But a holiday is what you make it. We had a good time but i wouldnt return. We were the only english people in the hotel and we didnt see any others in Rhodes Town, Id say not for Brits.

We had a great holiday staying at the Blue Sky, staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Room had a stunning sea view, was a good size and beds were comfortable, the only complaint was the shower size i am 5ft 10 and husband is 6ft and it was impossible to shower properly with screen door closed but we managed. Breakfast was nice with plenty to chose from if you are down early enough.
