I liked the restaurant.

Pros:
Food was fine. Tried both veg and non-veg dishes. Breads were soft so loved it. Furthermore, great desert.

Cons:
Portion was too small so I will count this restaurant under expensive category.

I agree with one of the frank review given here below that Kaveri is better than the average Indian restaurants in Paris and nothing special other than the clean environment with nice interior decorations.
Only Tandoori chicken seemed to have taste more than the average.
Chicken Biryani was ok and little better than other places. We ordered a saucy dish with prawns and it was filled with frozen prawn which had no taste at all and disappointing. Lamb korma was above average and nothing to remember special, when we move out of the table.

OK types menu. Had vegetarian food twice. Non-veg was slightly better (based on feedback of others). Overall ambience is very good...but food not quite upto the mark. The chef is not authentic indian for sure. Samosa had too much of oil. The restaurant ambience though is very good and worth a visit.

We visited Le Kaveri last week and had a very nice dinner there. The food was great, very authentic north Indian food (we ordered chicken tikka, saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, naan, and gajar halwa). The owners also suggested we try the cheese naan which is a dish created by their family, and it definitely did not disappoint! It was served piping hot with a side of extremely spicy chili sauce, and was absolutely delicious!

The owners were very warm and welcoming, and were making sure all the guests were well attended to. It is evident they are passionate about what they do, and you can see their attention to detail in everything from the quality of food served to the elegant ambience of the restaurant. I would highly recommend this place, and hope to return there on my next visit to Paris as well!

Coming from Bay Area in California was skeptical at first based on the reviews, however pleasantly surprised. Ordered Bara kabab - goat leg BBQ which was a great appetizer, also tried Rogan josh and chapati (gr8 combo), both were customized to Indian taste ( spicy - not overly and perfectly cooked meat). I was hoping for biryani but was upfront told that it is not made using dum- I appreciated the honesty. The staff was attentive and welcoming too. The owner Mr. Gupta was courteous to all the guest and ensured they were attended and well fed. Will certainly go back next time.
