We spent 8 nights at Villas Hermosas and could not have imagined having a better time. The villa was huge and wonderful - what a value! Everything was exactly as promised - gorgeous location, fantastic beaches, and ready access to lots of great activities. Brad and Tara really go out of their way to help however they can and they are truly fantastic hosts! I rarely write reviews but could hardly pass up the opportunity to wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful place. Check it out!

Sorry for the late post - wrote a review right after we got back from our vacation and then experienced an internet snafu while loading, so consequently my review did not post then! We (husband, step-son & his wife) stayed here in late January/early February and it was wonderful! Loved how small the place was, so we didn't have to share the place with alot of people. The villa's were immaculate and comfy! The pool and rancho were really nice! Loved Christy's breakfast's in the morning - she is an awesome lady! Beach was conveniently close and so beautiful! Would absolutely stay here again, in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: Any of the villas would be excellent!

Santa Teresa sure has grown since the last visit in March 2009..Just had another wonderful vacation at Villas Hermosa with 12 other friends and family. We went in March again (2012), the weather was warm and sunny. Brad and Tara did a great job to make another fabulous vacation...Lots more restaurants in town..(such great food there)....its also a plus that breakfast is served every morning in the rancho, and something different everyday! from omlets, eggs to your liking, an french toast, fresh banana bread, pancakes, homeade cinnamon toast(so good), fresh oj, it really made things nice cause thats one meal ya dont have to worry about..did a two day atv tour that everyone had a blast on....went off shore fishing and we caught alot of grouper(enough to serve 14 people for two days), which we brought back and grilled at the rancho....got to see alot of great views of the beach and country. Looking forward to going back again!

Room Tip: Plan on staying longer...the first and last day are full from cabs, planes and packing.....stay as long as ya can to enjoy your full vacation.

Recently stayed there for 3 nights and we couldn't have been happier. The villas were great- very spacious and had top-notch modern amenities. Brad and Tara (owners) were so nice and helped us out with anything we needed. The jungle surroundings and direct beach access allow infinite possibilities for exploration and local activities. We surfed, snorkled, wined, & dined all within easy walking distance. I would HIGHLY recommend taking the ATV tour with Brad. Seriously one of the funnest things either of us has ever done. Would absolutely stay here again and already planning next trip back!

Our second trip to Villas Hermosas was even more wonderful than the first (and I told all my friends that was my all-time-best-vacation-ever).

The smaller size of Villas Hermosas, with three two bedroom, two bathroom Villas and one "honeymoon suite, makes for a private and comfortable stay. Everything you could ask for in an modern western home including kitchens and great AC. The staff is on top of it and the rooms and grounds are perfectly maintained. A shared common area, The Rancho", is where you meet for the complimentary breakfast by the pool. No fighting for chaise lounges or pool time here. An honor bar poolside (is stocked regularly and priced fairly) and refrigerators in the room if you pick something up in town. Beach towels, bath towels and linens refreshed daily. Plates and silverware in every room if you want to make something in your Villa.. Really everything I could possibly want in a very safe and secure atmosphere.

Some of our best times on both trips included the owners, Brad and Tara, who along with their friendly and happy staff couldn't make us feel more welcome and cared for. Their knowledge of the area is immense, recommending great restaurants (even delivery), arranged for surfboards and pointed us toward places to go and things to see.

Both trips Brad took us on a Quad Tour, which was a great way to see the area and get to some of the more remote spots. The first time in the rainy season and this time in the dry, offered greatly different experiences. Highly recommended!

The beach is amazing. For surfers, a fantastic beach break right out front and a world class point break not too far away. There are Monkeys, squirrels, lizards and birds all around you in an amazing lush jungle environment. A large "tide pool" offers some snorkeling (B&T can get you masks and snorkels if you need) and the beach is great for swimming.

Very excited that Villas Hermosas is now our go-to vacation spot and I am looking forward to our next trip already.

Room Tip: Honeymoon suite can see the beach and is completely removed from the Villas, perfect for two people. The Villas are very comfortable with two couples but could easily sleep six or seven.
