“Excellent Easter Break”

Just returned from a fabulous Easter break at Old Mill 2 in Askrigg. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. It is well positioned for all the village amenities and fantastic walks in the Dales. The Crown Pub in the village allows dogs so we enjoyed some lovely evening meals which gave me a well deserved break from cooking. Would highly recommend this cottage to all looking for a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of life.

So glad that you enjoyed your visit and many thanks for your kind comments. Askrigg is very dog friendly and they are welcome in all three pubs in the village.

“Had everything we needed”

We stayed at the Old Mill 2 In November 2013. This is a very spacious, well equipped and clean cottage. We had our dog with us and there is a small outside space which was perfect as it was totally enclosed. It would be a really nice area to sit out in in better weather. There is also parking for 1 car which is great. Askrigg is a lovely village with all you need on the doorstep - shop for essentials, deli and coffee shop and 3 pubs who serve food and welcome dogs. Plenty of walks from the doorstep and lots of other places to visit nearby. The owners of the Old Mill 2 are very friendly and helpful and nothing was a bother for them. This cottage has everything - comfortable and clean, well located, spacious, enclosed garden, parking, local amenities
